12/14/12: Antibalas and Red Baraat at Brooklyn Masonic Temple

On December 14th 2012, the Moore PA Hire Team was asked to provide sound, lighting and DJ gear for the Antibalas and Red Baraat show at Brooklyn Masonic Temple.  For sound, we brought in our 5-way active Jason Sound system as well as our L-Acoustics sound system consisting of (2) 112Ps and (2) SB15Ps (for balcony fill) and (6) 108Ps (for front fill) , all of which was controlled via our Yamaha M7CL digital sound console.  The bands also required (8) monitor mixes, which were controlled by our Yamaha LS9 digital sound board.  For Lighting, we brought in Elation Design Spot moving heads, LED lighting, and Source 4 Lekos all controlled via our Hog iPC lighting console.  Please take a moment to have a look at some pictures and video of the event below.

12/5/12: URTO 75 Anual Dinner/Dance

On December 5, 2012 Moore PA Hire was asked to provide sound, lighting and video for the 75 Annual Dinner and Dance for The United Restarante and Tavern Owners of New York.  For sound, we brought in our EV Deltamax system controlled via our Yamaha M7CL digital console.  For the lighting, we brought in our Elation Design Spots, Source 4 Lekos (with custom gobos), and LED uplighting all controlled by our Hog iPC lighting board.  And for video, we brought in our Dataton Watchout v 5.2 media server and captured (2) cameras for imag (image magnification) to output to (2) 6' x 8' projection screens matched with (2) ultra short throw projectors.  Please take a look at some pictures of the event below.








11/29/12 - Vice Magazine: Motherboard Launch Party featuring The Rza

On November 29, 2012 the Moore PA Hire team was asked to provide low end sound reinforcement, video, and lighting for Vice Magazine's re-launch of Motherboard (a tech blog).  The headliner at this event was The Wu Tang Clan's The Rza.  For sound, we brought in our dual front loaded 18" Jason Sound sub-woofers.  For lighting, we made custom gobos with Motherboard's logo on them and projected them using Source 4 Lekos.  We also set the tone of the room by uplighting with LEDs.  For video, we used our Dataton Watchout v5.2 media server capturing a VJ.  We also supplied display surfaces for 3 different "indy" video games.  These surfaces were (2) 70" Sharp Aquos Quatron LED displays as well as a 6' x 8' rear projection surface with an Ultra Short throw Projector.  This event was a big hit as evidenced by the pictures below.  Please take a look.

11/27/12: The Gabarron Foundation International Awards Gala

On November twenty seventh 2012, the Moore PA Hire team was asked to provide sound, lighting, video, and internet broadcasting for the Gabarrón Foundation's International Awards - 2012.  This event was held at The Gabarrón Foundation's US headquarters, which is The Carriage House in Manhattan.  For sound, we brought in our L'Acoustics 108Ps.  The sound was controlled via our Yamaha LS9.  For lighting , we used Source 4 Lekos, LEDs, and Elation Design Spots all controlled by our Hog iPC lighting console.  For video, we set up a 6' x 8' projection screen with one of our ultra short throw projectors and captured (2) different camera looks and a Power Point Presentation (switching between all three)  to display via our Dataton Watchout media server.  We broadcast all of this on the internet and had severa hundred unique visitors in multiple countries around the world.  Please take a moment and have a look at some pictures and video of the event below.

11/14/12: Golden Oars Dinner at the New York Athletic Club

On November fourteenth, 2012 the Moore PA Hire team was asked to provide sound, video, and lighting for the US Rowing's anual Golden Oars Dinner where they recognize accomplishments of US rowers from the previous year.  This, being an Olympic/Paralympic year was quite a celebration.   For sound, we brought in (2) separate L'Acoustics systems (one for the wards dinner and one for the  dance floor area/after party) both controlled via our Yamaha LS9 digital console.  For lighting the awards dinner, we used small LEDs to uplight the perimeter of the room and created a stage wash for the podium/presenters.  For the dance area, we used Elation Design Spot moving heads and LEDs to create a "dance club" environment.  All lighting was controlled via our HOG iPC.  For video we brought in (2) 6' x 8' projection screens for the awards dinner and a third 6' x 8' screen for the dance area all with Ultra Short through digital projectors.  We ran all of the projection off of our Dataton Watchout media server and performed a live capture of a slide show being run off of a laptop.  Please take a moment and have a look at some pictures of this wonderful event below.

Videographer Services

10/26/12 - 10/27/12: New Jersey Expo/Raritan Center - Falguni Pathuk

On October twenty sixth, 2012 the Moore PA Hire team was asked to provide sound, lighting and video for the Falguni Pathak performance at the NJ Expo/Raritan Center.  For sound, we broght in our Jason Sound stackable 5 way active sound system controlled via our Yamaha M7CL digital sound console.  For lighting, we used a combination of LED lighting, Volkslight GLP moving heads, Elation Design Spots and Elation Design Washes all controlled via our Hog iPC lighting console.  For the video portion, we brought in (2) Sanyo PLC-WM5500 digital projectors and edg-blended them using our media server (Dataton Watchout System) and displayed threaded content throughout the projection.

10/20/2012: Myspace - Feel the Music (sponsored by Denon) with Chromeo and ?uestlove

On October twentieth, 2012 the Moore PA Hire team was asked to provide sound, lighting and video (to interface with Denon's capture system/software) at the wonderful Tribeca Grand Hotel.  Performing at this event was Chromeo and ?uestlove.  For sound, we brought in our EV Deltamax system with (4) dual 18" sub woofer cabinets controlled by our Midis Venice Analog Console.  For Lighting, we brought in LED lights to set the tone of the room and to light the performers.  For the video portion, we used one Sharp Aquos 70" smart TV as well as a Sanyo Ultrashort Throw projector.  We connected to Denon's video capture system and displayed, realtime the pictures/renderings of peoples faces that were taken throughout the event.  Please take a moment and have a look at some pictures of this wonderful event below.

10/13/12 - Wedding at a Private Club

Pn October 13th, the Moore PA Hire Team was ased to provide sound for a wedding, the difficulty here was that the client wanted the sound "invisible".  We here at Moore PA Hire are never one to turn down a challenge we know we can accomplish, accepted this event.  We brought in our L'Acoustics sound system and placed our Yamaha LS9 digital console out of sight in order to create an "invisi-sound" feel.  Please take a moment to look at some pictures of this event.
