9/22/12: Efterklang at the Metropolitan Museum of Art

On September 22nd, 2012 the Moore PA Hire team was asked to provide sound reinforcement for Efterklang while they played at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  We brought in our EV Deltamax sound system with subwoofers, as well as our L'Acoustics 108P speakers for monitors.  We also provided power distribution and wireless in ear monitors via our Sennheiser EW 300 G2s.  All sound was controlled via (2) DiGiCo SD8 digital sound boards.  This event was beautiful to see and hear as evidenced by the images below.  Please take a moment and have a look.

9/19/2012: Fifty Cent - Yahoo: Crash Concert Series

On September 19, 2012 Yahoo Inc. asked the Moore PA Hire team to provide sound, conventional lighting and staging for their Crash Concert Series (please see a write up of the event here in Rolling Stone Magazine) in which Yahoo and Fifty Cent surprised a Brooklyn Boys and Girls club with a concert.  For sound, we brought in our Jason Sound 5-Way active system, controlled by our Yamaha M7CL.  For lighting, we used Source 4 Lekos (as this was to be lit for film) controlled by our Elation Scene Setter 24 channel lighting controller.  This was a wonderful and uplifting event.  Please take a moment and have a look at some photos and video of the event below.

9/6/12 - Fashion's Night Out at Scoop NYC

On 9/6/12, the Moore PA Hire team was asked to provide sound reinforcement, lighting, and staging for a street concert on New York's Fashion's Night Out thrown in front of haut fashion store, Scoop NYC.  DJ Mick Boogie got the night started, then St. Lucia put on a great performance.  For sound, we brought in our L'Acoustics 108P and L'Acoustics 112P speakers along with our EV TX2181 subwoofers.  This was all controlled via our Yamaha M7CL digital sound console.  We built a 12'W x 10'D x 2'H stage and framed it with LED lighting controlled via a 12 channel lighting console.  For the DJ set up, we brought in (2) Technics 1200 MK2 turntables, a Pioneer DJM-800 mixer and a Rane Serato SL3 box and software.  Everything came together wonderfully and the event had quite a large turn-out.  Please have a look at some pictures of the night below.
