1/27/13: DIFFA Gift for Life Fundraiser: Party for Life at the Central Park Boathouse

On January 27th, 2013 the Moore PA Hire team was asked to provide sound, lighting and staging for the Gift for Life Fundraiser thrown by DIFFA at the beautiful Central Park Boathouse.  For sound we brought in our L'Acoustics sound system consisting of 108p self powered speakers, 112p self powered speakers and SB15p self powered subwoofers.  We also provided (2) wireless microphones and a DJ set up consisting of a Pioneer DJM 800 and (2) Pioneer CDJ 2000s.  All the sound gear was controlled via our Yamaha LS9 digital mixing console.  For lighting we brought in LED lighting and used Source 4 Lekos controlled via our HOG iPC lighting console.  Please take a moment and have a look at some pictures below.

1/21/13: One Million Moms for Gun Control Rally

On January 21st, Moore PA Hire was asked to provide sound, staging, a generator and a podium for One Million Moms for Gun Control's rally at City Hall Park.  For sound we brought in our EV Deltamax system controlled by our Yamaha LS9 digital sound console.  We built the stage out of our in house stage sections and placed a cherry wood podium on it for the rally.  We also brought in a 6.5 KW sound attenuated generator to power the rally.  Please take a moment and have a look at some images of the rally below.

1/19/13: Neurosis at Masonic Temple of Brooklyn

On January 19th, 2013 the Moore PA Hire team was asked to provide sound, lighting and back-line for the Neurosis show at The Masonic Temple of Brooklyn.  For sound we brought in our Jason Sound 5-way active sound system and augmented it with L-Acoustics 112Ps and L-Acoustics SB15Ps for balcony fill. Front of house control was divided between our Yamaha LS9 digital sound console and our Midas Venice analog sound console.  For lighting, we used a combination of LEDs, Source 4 Lekos and Elation Design Spot 250 moving lights all controlled via our Hog iPC lighting console.  This was a packed house with over 1000 patrons for a sold out event.  Please take a look at some pictures and a video of the event below.

1/11/13 - 1/13/13: APAP 2013 at the Hilton New York

On the weekend of January 11th through January 13th, the Moore PA Hire team was invited to provide sound, lighting and video for four showcase presenters at The Association of Performance Art Professionals (APAP) 2013 at the Hilton New York.  We also provided stage management for each room we supported as there was between 6 and ten showcases each with 5 minute intervals to reset the stage after each performance.  Some of the bands/acts showcased were Rhythmic Circus, Sunjata Kamalenya, Vocaldente, The Second City, The Prodigals, Tap and Cherish the Ladies.  Each room had it's own sound, lighting and video set up.  They were as follows:

Mercury Suite 
-Sound: EV Deltamax System w/ (4) EV DMS 1152 mid-high speakers & (2) front-loaded double 18" Subs, Sennheiser G2 wireless microphone systems with both handheld and belt-pack transmitters for a combination of Lavalieres & Countryman E 6D uni-directional head worn mics, all controlled via our Yamaha M7CL digital sound console.   
-Lighting: (20) LEDs, (8) Source 4 Lekos, and (12) Elation Design Spot 250s all controlled by our HOG iPC lighting console.
-Video: (3) Ultra-Short throw 2.5K projectors with threaded content mapped onto (3) 6' x 8' screens (rear projection) flown from truss approx. 16' above stage controlled via one of our Dataton Watchout v5.3 media server. Portions of this content was provided by the more technically advanced acts via live capture, while the remainder including performers logos were imported on-site by our video tech and blended in with existing in-house backgrounds. 

Trianon Suite 
-Sound: EV Deltamax System, w/ (4) EV DMS 1152 mid-high speakers, (2) EV 2181 T dual 18"trapezoidal manifold sub woofers, Sennheiser G2 wireless microphone systems, all controlled by a Yamaha LS9 32 channel digital sound console.
-Lighting: (12) LEDs, (16) Par 64, (8) Source 4 Lekos & (2) 12x2.4K dimmers , all controlled by our Grand MA on PC/MA Command Wing lighting console.
-Video: (1) Ultra-Short throw 2.5K projector & (1) 9' x 12' front projection screen
controlled via one of our Dataton Watchout v5.3 media servers.

Madison Suite
-Sound: L-Acoustics sound systems including (6) 108Ps, (2) 112Ps, and (2) SB15Ps all controlled by our Yamaha LS9 16 channel digital sound console.
-Lighting we used LEDs and Source 4 Lekos.
