9/29/2016 - Acore Capital Business Meeting at the Refinery Hotel

On September 29, 2016, Moore P.A. Hire provided Logo lighting assistance to Acore Capital at the Refinery rooftop living room of the prestigious Refinery Hotel. For this event, we brought in two of our Source 4WRDs, used to project the client's custom gobos unto the wall of the venue.

9/24/2016 - Atlas Obscura book launch - "An Explorer's Guide to the World's Hidden Wonders"

Moore P.A. Hire, Inc. was asked to provide audio, video, lighting and power distribution for the book launch of the Atlas Obscura: An Explorer’s Guide To The World’s Hidden Wonders which was held at Building 128, Brooklyn Navy Yard, home of and adjacent to New Lab - a multidisciplinary design & Technology Center. The video system we supplied consisted of two 6’ 10’ 8” screens AV Stumpfl Monoblox S32 projection screens complete with drape kit. We used our ultra short throw Sonya 2.5K Projectors. The Decimator MD-HX Miniature cross converter and the AJA Hi5 HD-SDI/SDI to HDMI video and audio converters distributed video with precision.  Our 16 oz. velour pipe and drape provided suitable masking. The 6’ x 8’ x 18” stage we provided help presenters and audience connect. For lighting, we used twenty four of our Phillips Color Blast TRX RGBAW LED lights to up-light the wall of this amazing venue with the client's choice of color.  Two of our Source 4WRD dimmable lights illuminated the stage. Lighting control was distributed using our wireless DMX City Theatrical SHoW Baby.  Our audio system for the presentation featuring excerts from the newly released book from Atlas Obscura was supported by six of our L’Acoustics 108P speakers.  The authors used our Shure UR4D wireless mic system for presentation and also Q & A. For band audio we used our L’Acoustics 112P mid-high speakers and SB15P sub which were controlled from our Yamaha QL-1. For power distribution, we used our Motion Labs breakered stringers complete with approximately 500’ of feeder cable!

9/20/2016 - Award Ceremony at the Refinery Hotel Rooftop

On September 20th, the Moore PA Hire team was invited to provide sound and staging for an Award ceremony in the  Refinery rooftop living room of the prestigious Refinery Hotel. For sound, we used our Yamaha QL1 16 channel digital audio console with Dan Dugan automatic mixer to interface with the house audio system. We also provided 2 Shure UR4D Dual channel UHF system handheld mics. The stage area was constructed using one 6' x 4' & one 4' X 4' stage sections to build a 10' Width x 4' Depth x 1' Height stage, supported by 9" stage legs. This was covered by our Duvetyn black stage skirt to cover the entire perimeter.

9/13/2016 - Tasting event at the Refinery Hotel Rooftop - Belvedere Vodka

On September 13, 2016, the Moore PA Hire team was invited to provide sound and video for a Belvedere vodka tasting event at the Refinery rooftop, part of the Refinery hotel, within viewing distance of the Empire State Building.
We provided a Macbook Pro and Roland VR-50HD Multi-Format AV Mixer  to serve and switch content to Sharp Aquos 70" Class Quatron 1080p Smart LED LCD Displays.
For audio control we used our Yamaha QL1  16 ch. Digital audio console w/ Dan Dugan Automatic Mixer to interface with the house audio system. We provided 4 Shure UR4D Wireless Mic receivers to accommodate (2) Shure UR2 Wireless Handheld mic and also (2) Shure UR1 with Shure MX185 Microflex Cardioid Lavalier Microphones. We also provided a Countryman E6-D beige colored headworn mic for hands free presentation.

9/12/2016 SCO Howard F. Treiber Memorial Golf Open at The Creek Country Club

On September 12, 2016, Moore P.A. Hire, Inc. provided sound and video support to the SCO Howard F. Treiber Memorial Golf Open at The Creek, the majestic country club and championship golf course overlooking the Long Island Sound in Locust Valley, NY. We used our L’acoustic 108p speaker system, Shure MX418 18” slim line gooseneck podium microphones, along with our Shure UR4D wireless microphone systems for the auctioneer, all controlled by our Yamaha QL-1 digital audio console for sound reinforcement. For video, we used our Roland VR-50 HD AV switcher and Panasonic 8000-Lumen Single Chip DLP digital projector. Our Macbook pro served video content to the ceiling of the tent at the beach. 220 guests were entertained and the event looked and sounded great.

9/10/2016 - Rebecca Minkoff Street Fashion Show

On September 10, 2016, the Moore PA Hire team was asked by our client Palmer Schwartz Associates to provide audio design & implementation for an outdoor fashion show which was to be staged on Greene Street, NY using the Clients' store as a staging area for models. 
The runway was 160 feet long with the unusual twist of having a live band "Beau" perform. For F.O.H. we used our Yamaha QL1 Digital audio console paired with (20) of our L'Acoustics 8XT speakers powered and processed using our L'Acoustics LA-8 neatly distributed (10) per side under the bleachers, with low end reinforcement form our L' Acoustics  SB15P self powered subs. On-stage audio monitoring was through our L'Acoustics 112P. As there were two video teams staged approx 300' away on Spring St. we used our 300' CAT 5 snake and Yamaha 1608 RIO  to feed both with audio and communication. As the client wanted to archive the content for editing later, we also provided multi-tracking facilities.Here are a few reviews from this event:
