On Saturday, November 5th, the Moore P.A. Hire team was asked to provide an audio system for the New York Road Rrunners Dash to the Finish Line 5K run for which the start line include not only 1st avenue 44th St. thru 47 th St. but also Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza. This system provided full coverage for the approx 18,000 runners.
Audio control was by our Yamaha QL1 digital audio consoles paired with our Yamaha RIO1608 while an additional QL-1 provide our 2nd audio engineer local control on Dag Hammarskjold plaza. The (2) Genie ST 20s we used has the capability to crank-up to 750lb capacity 20' towers and supported (12) dV Dosc speakers (6 each), with power and processing by our L'Acoustic LA-8 amplifiec controllers. Our (6) L'Acoustic 112P and (4) L'Acoustic108P speakers served as further delay towers for the runners. Our ALP-5 crank up lifts provided support.
