3/4/2017 - Horace Mann School at the American Museum of Natural History Whale Room

On March 4th, 2017, the Moore P.A. Hire team provided the Horace Mann school with an event production package consisting of lighting, audio and video for their annual fundraiser held in the Whale Room of the American Museum of Natural History This window for this entire set-up was a mere 3 hours!

Our Audio  package consisted of our L'Acoustics 112P self powered speakers controlled using our Yamaha QL5 with Yamaha RIO 1608 digital  stage box.The use of our Apple iPad with QL Stagemix software for remote control helped refine control of the audio. This system was used for both DJ and auctioneer, the latter using our Shure UR4D handheld wireless systems.
The video position of our services consisted of two of our Stumpfl 16:9 screens to display a combination of content from IBidMobile and a powerpoint to display the live auction items. This content was all controlled using our Roland VR-50 HD seamless switcher and the content was also sent to the existing nine in house displays.
For lighting, the brief was to provide elegant but atmospheric lighting to highlight the room's amazing architecture and all the whale itself. The lighting system was also to include additional instruments to illuminate the silent auction items lined on multiple tables. The combination of overwhelmingly LED rig consisting of: (48) Colorblast TRX, (24) ETC S4WRD, (12) GLP Volksight Zoom, (6) Martin MAC Aura, (4) Martin Quantum Profile, (8) Chauvet Professional Rogue R2 Spot with control signal being distributed by (12) City Theatrical Show baby 5 helped us achieve the spectacular results as pictured below. To help achieve these results in such as short time, we pre-programmed using our MA on PC Command & Fader wings to enact the pre-programmed software and also our 2017 Vectorworks Spotlight :
