8/15/17 Sikhs for Justice - Rally & webcast

On August 15, Moore P.A. Hire provided a production package for a rally on Dag Hammarskjold Plaza consisting of an audio system, staging and also a live mobile webcast for our clients, “Sikhs forJustice” Human rights advocacy group which exposed the 1984 Sikh Genocide. As this was a permitted event, we advised our client on event design and also attended meetings with the relevant authorities.

Our audio package consisted of our Yamaha QL1 with Yamaha RIO1608 and CAT 5 snake controlling our L'acoustics 112P speakers. For staging we provide a 16' x 6' stage which incorporated support for their signage. We also provided stable support for a flag raising ceremony.

The mobile streaming package we provided used a dedicated cloud based origin server to enable us to broadcast reliable HD Video and the audio captured from our audio system to multiple live targets such as YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Periscope and UStream over one internet connection. For switch & camera package consisted of a Blackmagic Design ATEM Studio 4K Live Switcher, (2) Sony PXWFS5 XDCam Super35 on tripod w/ operators & (1) Sony PXW-X70 compact camcorder for a wide shot. We provided a tech director for switching and a Samsung DM48D for his multi-view display. In order to fully understand the clients' vision, we had a number of pre-production meetings and also to ensure a seamless production we did a stream check in advance of the event day at the location. Our Vidiu pro wireless streaming device successfully streamed the event to the online crowd of upwards of 71K viewers over multiple web sites.
