03.28.2019 - March Madness viewing party at The New York Athletic Club

On March 28th Moore PA Hire jumped back in the saddle for another March Madness party, this time at The New York Athletic Club. We provided all audio, video, and rigging necessary to display multiple games simultaneously around the 9th Floor Card room.

For audio we provided (6) L'Acoustics 108Ps.

For video, we started with (1) Roland VR 50HD and built out from there. To stream all the games we provided (1) Macbook Pro 15" with hardline internet access connected to Youtube TV. To display the games we provided (2) Sharp Aquos 80" screens and (2) LG UJ634 70" screens. For the mainstage games we provided (1) 7'x11' AV Stumpfl Monoblox projection screen paired with (1) Optoma ZU850 8K Laser w/ Optoma A13 ultra long throw lens. We mounted the projector on (1) stick of 12x12x8 brushed aluminium truss to keep it up and out of the way.

03.27.2019 - Steve Ross at a Private Club

On March 27th Moore PA Hire provided audio and lighting equipment and services for a cabaret performance starring Steve Ross at a private club on the east side of New York City.

For audio, we drove the show with (1) Yamaha QL-1. For microphones we provided (2) Shure UR2 handheld microphones, received by our Shure UR4D receiver rack. To capture the piano we provided (1) Earthworks Piano Bar and the whole performance was sent out to (6) L'Acoustic 108P.

For lighting, we provided (4) ETC Lustr Series 2, all with EDLT lenses. To fill in the look we provided (6) Colorblast TRX w/ Colorblast TRX 375 PSU.

03.23.2019 - March Madness viewing party at The Wilson

On March 23rd Moore PA Hire provided video equipment and services for a March Madness viewing party at The Wilson on west 27th street, NYC. We brought in (3) displays to stream different content / games on each one throughout the patio of The Wilson.

For the main display we provided (1) Optoma ZU850 8K Laser projector with Optoma A01 ultra short through lens. We set it up with (1) Peerless PRS-UNV projector mount, some Schedule 40 pipe, and we rigged it to the support beams in the ceiling. For the display we provided (1) AV Stumpfl Monoblox S32 projection screen. To finish the look we paired the projection screen with (1) AV Stumpfl Monoblox Drapery Kit. To feed the projector we provided (1) Moore PA Hire Macbook Pro 15" running Youtube TV and (1) Decimator MD-HX.

For the two secondary displays we provided (2) 70" LG UJ634 LED TVs on 84" Premier Mounts. These were provided with hard-line internet and they streamed all the March Madness games requested through Youtube TV.

To provide hard-line internet to the TVs and the Moore PA Hire Macbook Pro 15" we provided (1) Netgear GS108-400NAS Gigabit Switch and all the Cat 5 cabling necessary.

03.22.2019 - The Wharton School at The New York Athletic Club

On March 22nd Moore PA Hire provided The Wharton School with a wide array of equipment and services across 3 floors at The New York Athletic Club.

9th floor lounge and card room
For audio we enlisted (1) Yamaha QL-5 and (1) Yamaha Rio 1608D to drive the main stage keynote presentations and fire-side chats. For speakers we provided (6) L'Acoustics 112P - (4) in the lounge and (2) in the adjoining card room - and (2) L'Acoustics 108P for front fill and monitors up on stage. We also provided (4) Ultimate Support Tripod speakers stands to maximize space for the attendees. As for microphones, we rigged up (1) Shure UR4D receiver rack paired with (2) Shure UR2 handheld mics and (2) Shure UR1 beltpack with Shure MX185 lavalier mics. To finish off the system we brought in (2) Shure MX418 podium microphones.

For video, we provided (1) Production Bot Switch 8 running vMix Pro to serve the client provided hold slides and keynote presentation content. For displays we provided (2) 80" Sharp Aquos LED TVs either side of the stage. We married these with all HDMI to SDI converters and cabling necessary. We added in (1) DSAN Limitimer Staging Kit Pro-2000 to keep the event running on schedule and the 9th floor was ready to roll!

10th floor breakout rooms (Olympic 1&2, Olympic 4&5, President's room)
Moore PA Hire handled all audio requirements across the (3) breakout rooms up on the 10th floor.
Across the various breakout rooms we provided (2) Mackie DL1608 and (1) Mackie DL806. For speakers we provided (8) L'Acoustics 112P and for microphones we provided (18) Shure MX418 Podium mics (6 per room). Each room was mixed wirelessly by the Moore PA Hire audio engineer on (3) iPad Mini 9.7" throughout the day.

11th floor dining room
For the second keynote presentation of the day Moore PA Hire provided audio, video, lighting, and camera equipment and services on the 11th floor dining room during the event's sit down lunch.

As far as audio goes, we provided (4) L'Acoustics 108P fed by (1) Yamaha QL-1. For microphones we provided (2) Shure MX418 podium microphones, along with (2) Shure UR2 handheld microphones and (2) Shure UR1 beltpacks with Shure MX185 lavalier mics received by (2) Shure UR4D receiver decks.
Turning to the video system, we set up (1) Roland VR50HD receiving content from (1) Moore PA Hire Macbook Pro 15" and (1) Panasonic AJ-PX270. The VR50 HD mixed the show with ease and sent the content out to (2) 70" LG UJ634 LED TVs set up across the room.
For lighting we provided (1) ETC Lustr Series 2 on (1) Impact Turtle Base C stand to lift the stage and the speakers delivering the keynote address.

03.17.2019 - Sikhs for Justice LIVE broadcast of Punjab Referendum 2020 New York Conference

On March 17th Moore PA Hire provided audio, lighting, video and live streaming equipment and services for the Sikhs for Justice Punjab Referendum 2020 New York Conference.

For audio, we provided (1) Yamaha QL-1 and (1) Yamaha Rio 1608D to drive the show. For microphones we provided (2) Shure MX 418, (2) SM 57, and (2) Senheiser MKH-416 for room tone on the live stream, all with mic stands. For speakers we provided (6) L'Acoustics 112P and (4) L'Acoustics 108P for front fill and monitors.

For lighting we provided (2) ETC Lustr S2 each outfitted with EDLT 26 degree lenses and rigged up on (2) Impact Turtle Base C-Strands. We also added in (2) Ikan LED Panels for hair light.

For video and live streaming we rolled our full broadcast package. The system starts with out premier live streaming and recording rack, what we call the LSE 1. Engineered with (1) Blackmagic Design Atem 2 M/E, (2) Blackmagic Design Hyperdeck Studio Pro 4K, and (2) Blackmagic Design Smartscope Duo 4K. Included in the rack is also (1) Clearcom dual-channel base station and (1) APC UPS capable of powering the whole system for up to an hour.
The LSE 1 was paired with (1) Production Bot Switch 8 to stream the program to 3 destinations simultaneously and also record the show as an H.264 MP4 direct to our archival 4TB LaCie Drive. We also recorded the program on Pro Res 422 on our Blackmagic Design Hyperdeck Studio Pro 4K for redundancy.
Our control area was completed with (1) Ikan 19.5" filed monitor, (1) Blackmagic Design Atem Advanced Panel, and (1) Macbook Pro 13" to smoothly mix the show ahead of broadcast.
For cameras we provided (3) Panasonic AJ-PX270, all outfitted with Atomos Shogun Inferno 4K and Clearcom 603 belt-packs with Clearcom CC-300 headsets.
Finally, to display the program for the large audience in the room we provided (2) 80" Sharp LC-80LE661U and (2) 70" LG UJ634 plasma screens.

To finish off the whole event we provided (2) sections of 12' x 13' black velour drape, (5) 9'-16' telescopic drape uprights, (3) 7'-12' drape crossbars for stage backdrop and to display the client provided signage on the live stream.

03.13.2019 - HBO Latino at Remezcla in Bushwick

On march 13th Moore PA Hire provided lighting, audio, video and projection equipment and services for Remezcla as they hosted a HBO Latino event to celebrate the premiere of their Music Special "Havana Street PArty Presents ORISHAS" at the Remezcla HQ in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

For audio, we provided (1) Yamaha QL-5 and (2) Yamaha Rio 1608D. For speakers a combination (6) L'Acoustics DV Dosc. and (2) L'Acoustics DV Subs, powered and processed by our L'Acoustics LA-8 rack. Our Audio monitor package consisted of (4) L'Acoustics 112P along with (2) L'Acoustics 108P for front fill, while our DJ package of Pioneer CDJ-900 and CDJ 2000's worked for all DJ's concerned.

For video and projection, our Production Bot Switch 8 easily accomodated the multiple client-provided videos. For projection we provided (2) Optoma ZU850 8K Laser projectors with a combination of Optoma A01 & Optoma A13 lenses. Our video design called for (1) AV Stumpfl 7'x11' projection screen while we framed the 2nd projector for a lace wall that divided the event space.

For lighting, we provided (8) ETC Lustr Series 2, (4) Chauvet Professional Rogue R2, and (4) ETC Source 4WRD. We provided (12) Colorblast TRX and we finished off the look with (4) ETC Source 4 Minis and (8) LED Strips. We used our MA on PC Command Wing and (1) MA on PC Fader Wing for show control.
