06.30.2019 - MCCNY for Pride Parade NYC

On June 30th, Moore PA Hire provided audio equipment and services for two floats in the NYC Pride Parade. The first was for the Metropolitan Community Church of New York. Let's jump in!

We started with (1) Yamaha QL-1 and (1) Yamaha Rio 1608D. For the choir we laid out (9) Shure SM58 microphones, for the drums (2) Shure SM57s, and a couple Radial Duplex D.I.s for the keyboards. For speakers we deployed (4) L'Acoustics 108P for monitors, (4) L'Acoustics 112P for PA, and finally (2) L'Acoustics SB15P for some low end as the float rolled down 5th avenue! We powered the whole set-up off a generator sitting in the back of the pick up truck pulling the float. We had a quick soundcheck with the choir, keyboardist, and drummer and we were ready to start the engine and get parading!
