2/16/2012: Tourism Ireland Event at The New York Athletic Club

On February 16th, the Moore PA Hire team was asked to provide A/V support for Tourism Ireland promotional, media only event at The New York Athletic Club. The focus of this event was to launch a three minute video commercial in addition to two thirty second video commercials for general release to North American Cinemas. We provided sound via our L-Acoustics powered speaker system, video via our Dataton Watchout system, IMAG (image magnification) using out Christie and Sanyo digital projectors, live video capture, stage and architectural lighting. The featured speaker for this event was Taoiseach Enda Kenny, Ireland's current Prime Minister. Please take a moment to have a look at some pictures of this wonderful event below.

2/9/2012: Oster Media Presents Leila Shams Afterparty

On February 9th, the Moore PA Hire team was asked to help set up Sound, Lighting and Video for the after party of Oster Media presents Leila Shams during New York Fashion Week. We also provided video support for the Leila Shams showcase at The Empire Hotel. For the after party, we supplied LED Lighting, Video Support, a Macbook Pro, Standard lighting, Gobo Lighting, Hi-Fi sound via our L-Acoustics speaker system, backline rental, and Pipe and Drape. The event was a huge success, as evidenced by the pictures below. Please have a look.

2/1/2012: Starwood Preferred Guests event at the St. Regis Hotel, The Westin Hotel, and the W Hotel

On February first the Moore PA Hire team was asked to provide sound, video, and lighting in three locations for the Starwood Preferred Guests Program (Starwood Hotel Group). The three locations were as follows: The New York St. Regis Hotel, The Westin Hotel New York, and The W Hotel New York. At the first location, the St. Regis, the team provided video and computer support for two video screens and a slide presentations. Secondly, at the Westin, we provided LED lighting, up lighting, and building out the display walls and lighting for a photo exhibition . We also provided video support for two screens. Lastly, (but definitely not least), the night ended with a wonderful performance by Grammy Award winning artist Estelle. For this, team provided continuous video via our Dataton Watchout media server, LED Lighting, Wireless LED lighting for the furniture fixtures, standard lighting, staging, and hi quality sound. All three legs of this event went off without a hitch, and a good time was had by all. Please take a moment to take a look at some pictures and video of the event below.

12/8/2011: Girl Walk All Day Movie Premier

On December 18th, our friends over at Wordless Music asked us to provide sound, stage lighting and projection for the movie premier of "Girl Walk All Day" at The Masonic Temple of Brooklyn. The event was sponsored/funded by Kickstarter. For sound, we brought in our 5 way active Jason Sound system for F.O.H. mains and also (4) L-Acoustics 108P for infill and rear-fill adjacent to the rear screens. A simple stage lighting package consisting of (4) Source 4 Leko was all that was required. Projection was on (3) screens. The main screen was 16' W x 9' H for which we used our Christie LX 605, 6K projector flown on a custom truss/ Genie ST 20 package. For rear fill, we supplied (2) 8' W x 6'H screens and (2) Sanyo PDG-DWL2500 WXGA, 2.5K ultra short throw projectors. All media was disrtibuted and controlled by our Dataton Watchout media server.

12/6/2011: Andrea Bocelli Performance and Interview on Good Morning America

On December 6th, 2011 the Moore P.A. Hire Team was asked to reinforce the sound on the set of ABC's Good Morning America for Andrea Bocelli's interview and performance. This was another application where (6) of our Hi Fidelity, Self Powered L-Acoustics 108P served extremely well as compact, yet powerful monitors, as you can see from the pictures. The microphones of choice, Schoeps Colette series modular microphones were supplied by Jim Flynn Rentals. We also used a Heritage 3000 for studio sound. 12/5/2011: ESPN Heisman Trophy Winners Teaser Shoot

On December 5th, 2011 HSCUSA asked the Moore P.A. Hire team to supply the entire set for the shooting of an ESPN Heisman Trophy a teaser commercial for airing on December 10th. The concept was to build a 3-sided "room/ artist loft" in which the artist would initially sketch the trophy, and his thought would then come to life and play out on the walls of his loft in the form of past Heisman trophy footage. The video had to seamlessly wrap around all three walls of the room with the artist and the Heisman Trophy located in the room. We supplied (3) Christie 10,000 lumen projectors, (3) 16' W x 9' H projection screens, (1) finished wood floor and our Dataton Watchout media server. The Watchout media server was instrumental in helping us with all technical aspects of the projection such as keystone and color correction while also serving for playback control.

On November 18th, the Moore PA Hire Team was asked to help set the mood for The Stars of New York Dance. We provided a LED and GOBO Lighting Package for the entrence to The Kumble Theatre for the Performing Arts. All involved rose to the occasion with stunning results. 10/2/2011: Panda Bear plays the Brooklyn Masonic Temple

On October 2 2011, the Moore PA Hire team was asked to provide sound and Lighting for Panda Bear (Animal Collective's Noah Lennox). We rose to the occasion and brought in a custom Jason Sound System which blew the crowd away. We also brought a Yamaha M7CL digital console for the front of the house mix and a Yamaha LS9-L16 digital console for the monitor mix and provided lighting for the event. 11/9/2011: CNet Gotham Holiday Hands On Guide

On November ninth, the Moore PA Hire team was asked to provide a DJ and Sound System for three days during CNet's Gotham Holiday Hands On Guide event. We brought the system in and loaded out daily on November 9th, 10th and 12th. The DJ system consisted of a Rane TTM57 Mixer and two Technics 1200 MK2 turntables. For the sound, we brought in a high impact/low footprint L-Acoustics system, which consisted of four L-Acoustics 108 P powered speakers, and two L-Acoustics SB15P subwoofers. 10/28/2011: Wella Trend Vision Event at the Altman Building

On October 28th, the Moore PA Hire team once again collaborated with te folks over at Paper Magazine to put on an incredible show at the Altman Building and a banquet/reception at Milk Studios. Both events were part of Wella's Trend Vision week in New York. For the first event, at the Altman building, we provided sound via an EV Deltamax System, architectural/runway/stage lighting and high-end video via a Dataton Watchout system with two 6000 lumen digital projectors and one 10,000 lumen digital projector . We set up three rear projection screens, with timeline mapped video, after-effects and a slide show via the Watchout system. Please see some Pictures below of this incredible event:

After this event wrapped, the guests headed over to Milk Studios for a Banquet/Reception. We provided sound via L-Acoustics 108P powered speakers and L-Acoustics SB15P powered subwoofers do to the client's request for a low profile high impact sound system. 10/20/2011 - 11/10/2011 Jonathan Adler And Ebay Launch 'Inspiration Shop' In New York

On October 20th, the Moore PA Hire team assisted with installing several window presentations for the Inspiration Shop by Jonathan Adler and Ebay. The inspiration shop is a 24/7 shop-able storefront at 404 Park avenue South in Manhattan New York. The storefront is shop-able via Ebay's mobile technology and was written up at The Huffington Post. The Moore PA Hire team also provided DJ Equipment, Wireless LED Lighting, Truss (for hanging the motorcycle and engine block in the windows) and multiple Hi-Res video screens for the storefront and launch party, which was held at the roof-top bar at The Gansvort Hotel. 9/13/2011: The Lincoln at Lincoln Center, Bulova Unveils the Sir Richard Branson Signature Watch

On September 13th, we here at Moore PA Hire were asked to provide sound/lighting/video/(2) video cameras for Bulova's unveiling of their Sir Richard Branson signature Accutron Watch. The event was located at the Lincoln Ristorante. We provided very minimal lighting, (3) 61 inch plasma TVs, and cameras (2) video cameras (which were used by videographers hired by Paper Magazine). We also provided sound with our ultra small L-Acoustics 108p Powered Speakers. Sir Richard Branson was on hand to give a key note speech and unveil his new signature Bulova watch. On September seventeenth, the Moore PA Hire team was asked to provide sound, lighting for a DJ and band at the Le Grand Fooding Campfire Session in Manhattan, New York. This event was located in the garden at the Elizabeth Street Gallery. Maloof Cup 2011 NYC: Flushing Meadows Park

Om June third fourth and fifth, Moore PA Hire was asked to provide sound for a the Maloof Money Cup professional skateboarding competition in Flushing Meadows Park. The event was written up in Sports Illustrated as well as on ESPN. And here is some more info on the event. Maloof Money cup sets record for largest global audience for a live skate webcast. Fuel TV takes the Maloof Money Cup global. The team rose to the task and provided sound in two areas of the park to a total of approximately 10,000 people. On January 20, 2011 Moore P.A.Hire Inc. provided sound and lighting for an event titled: The Macallan And Albert Watson Present Masters Of Photography: A Journey. The evening was a huge hit celebrating The Macallan single malt whiskey as well as the wonderful photographs taken by Albert Watson. Many art aficionados and party goers enjoyed the sound as well as the ambiance created by the lighting design and projector effects the Moore P.A. Team provided.
