1.12 & 13.25 - Yale Club 22nd fl. - CMAA Conference

 Moore PA once again returned to the Yale Club to provide audio and video equipment and services for the CMAA, City of New York Chapter.  Let's get into it!

For audio, we began with (1) Yamaha QL5 mixing board and (1) L'Acoustics dV Amp.  For speakers, we used (8) L'Acoustic X8.  For microphones, we used (2) ULXD4 providing us with 8 channels of digital audio, (6) Shure MX418C, and (4) ULXD2 handheld mics.    

For video, we used (1) Roland VR120, with content served by (3) Asus Zenbook Duo Pros using (1) Perfect Cue Mini.  Additionally, we provided (4) 85" TVs for content to be displayed across the ballroom.

12.20.24 Collegiate School Winter Program at St. Paul The Apostle Church

  Moore PA Hire went to The Church of St Paul the Apostle to provide audio, video, multi-cam recording and livestreaming equipment and services for The Collegiate School's winter program. 

For audio, we began with (1) Yamaha QL5, (1) Yamaha QL1, and (4) Yamaha Rio 1608D. The QL5 mixed for the in-room audience, the QL1 for the livestream. For speakers in the room we provided (2) L'Acoustics DV-Subs, (6) L'Acoustics 108p, and (12) L'Acoustics X8. The (6) L'Acoustics 108p served as monitors for the orchestra and choir, will we interfaced via Dante with the Church's audio system for the in-room audience. For microphones, we provided (12) Shure MX418C goose-neck microphones for the choir. 

For video, we rolled in (2) Genie ST20 crank-up stands, (2) sticks of 12ft truss, and (56) VMX 2.6 LED panels powered by (2) VX1000 processors to form (2) large imag screens above the low altar where the orchestra and choir were positioned. Additionally, we brought (2) 85inch TVs to serve content and image to the back of the church.   

For the recording and livestreaming portion of things, we brought in our premier livestream and recording production rack - the LSE-1. The rack consists of (1) vMix Pro server, (1) Blackmagic Design 12x12 Cleanswitch, (1) Netgear M4250 switch for high-bandwidth connectivity, and a fully managed Ubiquti networking setup. Tied into this were (2) Sony FR7s and (4) Birddog P4K ptz cameras discreetly spread around the space.  Additionally, we used (1) Atomos Sumo to save and record the concert.

12.07.24 Smirnoff Ice for Proof Media at Union Square

 Moore PA Hire went to Union Square to provide audio, video, and lighting equipment and services for an exciting Smirnoff Ice event with Proof Media.  Let's jump in!

For audio, we provided (1) Shure ULXD4Q to give us four channels of wireless mics for the various performers and emcees. Additionally, we provided (2) Pioneer CDJ 3000s and (1) Pioneer DJM 900 NX2 for the DJ.  For speakers, we provided (8) L'Acoustic X8, (4) L'Acoustic 112P, (2) L'Acoustic SB 15P subs, and (1) L'Acoustics LA-4X amp rack.  

For video, we provided (4) flat LED walls using our new P2.6 Gloshine panels for two activation areas to display content.  We used (1) Novastar MX40 processor to power the wall and were linked by (2) CVT10S fiber converter boxes.  Feeding the LED walls was our production rack, the LSE-2 using Resolume Arena 7, to display a variety of dynamic graphics provided by the client.

For lighting, we used (24) wireless LED uprights and (1) Fuel Lighting Kit.

11.25.24 Collegiate Boxing at the New York Athletic Club

 This week, we were in the New York Athletic Club to provide audio and video services for their annual Collegiate Boxing Event. 

For audio, we went with the Mackie DL16S. We had four L’Acoustics 112P Speakers set up around the room. For microphones we used a Shure ULXD4-g50 Handheld mic for the ring announcer. Then we also set up a Sennheiser MKH-416 Shotgun Mic mounted on the mezzanine to capture the sounds of the fights.


For video, capture was handled by the LSE-1. Two Birddog P4K PTZ Cameras were used, controlled by a Skaarhoj Controller. Additionally a Sony PMW-F5, manned by a camera man was used to track the fight. Two 70’’ Televisions were set up on rolling stands, as well as an Optoma 8K Laser projector to display an iMag of the fight.
