02.23.22 - FDNY Line of Duty Funeral for FF Jesse Gerhard

Moore PA Hire headed out to Long Island to provide video and audio equipment and services for the FDNY as they celebrated and mourned the loss of one of their own.

Our scope of work was to provide audio and video distribution throughout the route of the procession. 

Our audio package consisted of Yamaha QL-1 and L'Acoustics Line array and self-powered speakers. 

For video we built (2) LED video walls 9ft wide by 6ft high supported by our Genie ST-20. For control, we used our Roland VR-50HD Mk2 and Novastar VX4S processing. Perched atop each of these we installed (1) Birddog P4K PTZ camera to provide a bird's eye view of the procession as it made its way down the road.

02.17.22 - Quad TV Display at The New York Athletic Club

Moore PA Hire headed to the New York Athletic Club to roll-in a quad TV display for a series of viewing parties over the course of February.

 Four 70" LCD TVs make up this quad display, tied together by (1) Isee TV Wall Controller.

02.14.22 - L'Oreal with Manno Media

 It's another day, another venue at Moore PA Hire! Today was a full green screen shoot for L'Oreal, in partnership with Manno Media. 

We loaded into Bravo Studios with (1) Production Bot Switch 8 and (4) Birddog P4Ks to make up the base of our video gear. Added to this were (2) 19" Ikan Production Monitors 

and (1) 70" TV on a rolling stand. All layering and compositing was performed live inside vMix Pro, with the result viewable to the director and producers in real-time. A program record, as well as 3 ISO records, were saved directly to a removable internal SSD ready for editing after the fact. All post-production was performed by Moore PA Hire and the final product was broadcast live to over 800 viewers on March 1st.

For audio, we provided (1) Yamaha QL-1, with all audio routing with the Production Bot served over Dante. For microphones we set up (5) channels of Shure ULXD4Q paired with lavalier mics for the on-stage talent, as well as (2) Senheiser MK416 shotgun mics for scratch audio.

02.11.22 - Wharton Women in Investing Conference at NYAC

 Moore PA Hire returned to the New York Athletic Club for provide audio, lighting, multi-cam recording, hybrid conferencing equipment and services for the Wharton Women in Investing Conference.

Spread across 4 rooms on 9th and 10th floor, we provide stand alone systems and operators in every room, 2 of which supported hybrid set-ups to include remote panelists and audiences in addition to the in-person panelists and audience. 

On the 9th floor lounge we provided (2) 82 inch TVs to serve as digital branding for the conference agenda and sponsors. Additionally, the TV were in use during the lunch keynote as renowned investor Howard Marks joined the conference remotely to impart words of wisdom and take live questions from the audience. At the back of the room we provided (2) Birddog P4Ks to support the hybrid set-up as well as record all programming on the 9th floor lounge for future use - the recordings were delivered to the client within 24 hours of the event. The centre of the video web was our premier production rack LSE-1, powered by vMix Pro. For audio we provided (1) Yamaha QL-5 and (1) Yamaha Rio 1608-D to drive the event. We provided L'Acoutsics 112P speakers around the room and on stage. For microphones we provided (3) Shure MX418 podium-style microphones to capture the keynote presentations as well as the closing fireside chat. Finally we also provided (2) Shure UR-2 handheld microphones on mic stands out in the audience for Q&A.

Up in the President's Room on the 10th floor, we provided (2) 70 in TVs to again serves as digital branding, as well as display a number of panelists powerpoints, and also display the number of remote panelists who joined throughout the various breakout sessions. To route all of this videos we started with (1) ProductionBot Switch 8 running vMix Pro, along with (1) Birddog P4K and (1) Birddog PF120. For audio we provided (1) Yamaha QL-1 and (1) Yamaha Rio 1608-D. For speakers we provided L'Acoustics 112P and 108P. (5) Shure MX418 podium-style microphones for the in-person panelists and (1) Shure UR-2 handheld microphones made up the microphone selection for this room.

In the further two breakout room, Olympics 1-2 and Olympics 4-5, we provided (1) 70 inch TV in each along with (1) Macbook Pro 15" in each for the panelists to display their various powerpoint presentations and videos as needed over the course of the day. For audio, we provided (1) Mackie DL1608 along with (5) Shure MX418 podium-style microphones. For speakers we set-up L'Acoustics 108P around each room.

02.07.22 - Fasano

Moore PA Hire loaded into a new venue for us to provide video, audio, and content playback equipment and services for Fasano.

We started with (2) 82 inch TVs either side of the room. At the base of each TV we set-up (1) L'Acoustics 112P. For microphones we provided (3) Shure UR-2 handheld microphones and for content playback we provided (1) Macbook Pro 15". Finally, to knit everything together, we provided (1) Roland VR50HD Mk2 video and audio switcher.

02.05.22 - The Babbit Ball at The New York Athletic Club

Moore PA Hire was thrilled to return to the New York Athletic Club for The Babbit Ball 2022. After two years of this exciting event sadly being postponed due to Covid-19, we loaded into the 9th floor lounge ready to provide lighting, audio, video, videography and multi-cam recording equipment and services as we have for many years in the past.

For audio, we started with (1) Yamaha QL-1 and (1) Yamaha Rio-1608D. We set-up L'Acoustics 112P around the room and then added L'Acoustics 108P in the adjacent card room. For microphones we provided Shure UR-2 handheld microphones to capture the various announcements and speeches throughout the evening. 
For lighting we provided (4) ETC Lustr Series 2 to watch the stage and add some hairlight to the band and presenters. In the card room we provided (2) ETC Lustr Series 2 to highlight the silent auction which was a big part of the night and the charity's fundraising initiatives.
For video, we set up (2) 82 inch TVs flanking the stage to display the client provided content. In the card room, we rolled out (2) 70 inch TVs at either end of the room to display the client provided content and also display IMAG for the speakers on stage in the next room. To capture the IMAG we had (2) Birddog P4Ks discreetly tucked away on the north wall of the 9th floor lounge. All the speeches and announcements were switched and recorded inside (1) Production Bot Switch 8 powered by vMix Pro. Finally, we had our videography roaming around armed with (1) Panasonic GH5 to capture the magic of the night.

02.03.22 - Citizen's Budget Commission at The New York Athletic Club

  Moore PA Hire loaded in to the New York Athletic Club to provide video, audio, and lighting equipment and services for the Citizen's Budget Commission for another edition of their monthly press conference breakfasts with notable leaders from the New York metro area. Our scope of work was to cater to the in-person audience, as well as livestream and record the program for their wider audience.

For video, we began with (3) Birddog P4K. The camera feeds were fed into (1) Production Bot Switch 8, built around vMix Pro. The line cut as well as isolated camera recordings were also recorded internally and later transcoded before hand-off.

We livestreamed the program on Moore PA's proprietary content deliver network - Streamy.Cloud. This gave our client the ability to create an entirely branded and customizable watch-page to privately distribute amongst their audience far and wide.

For audio, we began with (1) Yamaha QL-1 and (1) Yamaha Rio 1608D. For microphones we laid out (3) Shure MX418 podium-style microphones on short-stands. For speakers we provided (4) L'Acoustics 112P and (2) L'Acoustics 108P to ensure optimal coverage across the room. 

For staging we provided green velour pipe & drape to set the stage. 

For lighting we provided (2) ETC Lustr Series 2 for front-light as well as (4) Quasars to uplight the client-provided branded backdrop.
