05.31.2019 - Album Release Party at Remezcla

On May 31st, Moore PA Hire loaded up the truck and headed to Moore street in Bushwick to set up audio, video, staging, and lighting equipment for Remezcla.

For audio, Moore PA Hire provided a full PA system, DJ booth set-up, and all necessary pieces to tie the system together. We started with (1) Yamaha QL-1 to mix the show. For the DJ set-up, we provided (1) DJM 900 Nexus, (2) CDJ 2000 Nexus, along with Serator Scratch Live and all necessary control CDs. For speakers, we provided (2) L'Acoustics 108p, (2) L'Acoustics SB15P, and (8) L'Acoustics 112P - 4 of which were flown from beam clamps in the venue. Given this, the Genie AWP-30AC joined us on the truck.

For lighting, we hung (6) ETC S4WRD, all with EDLT lenses, and networked them all together with Cat5 cable and (1) 12 channel 2 scene lighting controller.

For video, we jumped on the Genie lift again and hung (2) Optoma 8K laser projector, both with Optoma A01 lenses. We fed the two projectors with (1) Roland VR50HD.

Finally, for staging we provided (6) 6'x4' decks of staging, all with 16" legs. We provided (2) stair kits for the stage, skirted the outside in duvatene, and we were ready to open doors!

05.28.2019 - The Crosby Street Hotel

On May 28th, The Crosby Street Hotel rented one of Moore PA Hire's new 82" Samsung UHD Smart TVs. Take a look below at how beautiful these new screens are and why all our clients are clamoring to have them on their packing slip!

05.22.19 - Wayne State @ The Bowery Hotel

On May 22nd  Moore PA Hire provided audio, video, and lighting equipment and services for Wayne State's event at The Bowery Hotel.

For audio, we started our system with (1) Yamaha QL-1, (2) Shure MX418 podium mics, and our Shure UR4D receiver rack paired with Shure UR2 handheld microphones. For speakers, we set-up (4) L'Acoustics 112p, all on Ultimate Support Tripods.

For lighting, we set up (24) Colorblast TRX, fed by (2) Colorblast PDS-750 TRX, with all the cabling necessary.

For video, we flew (1) Optoma ZU850 8K Laser Projector to display on (1) AV Stumpfl Monoblox S32 7'x11' screen. The Optoma was outfitted with (1) Optoma A01 ultra-short throw lens and fed by (1) Roland VR50HD. The VR50HD had inputs from (2) Macbook Pro 15" to serve two powerpoint presentations, a number of videos, and the Moore PA Hire Pandora Pro account for walk-in music.

05.07.19 - Bedrock Capital @ the Bowery Hotel

On May 7th Moore PA Hire rolled out audio, video, lighting, staging, and pipe and drape equipment services across a full floor of The Bowery Hotel for Bedrock Capital's annual event.

For audio, we started with (12) channels of Shure UR4D wireless synced up with (2) Shure UR1 beltpacks with Shure MX185 lavalier mics, alongside (12) Countryman E6-D headworn mics. We also deployed (2) Shure MX418 podium microphones. To drive the show we set up (1) Yamaha QL-1 and (3) Mackie DL1608 - the event included three breakout rooms and so we provided dedicated audio for each space. For speakers, we provided (4) L'Acoustics 112P and (6) L'Acoustics 108P.

For video, we started with our workhorse the Optoma ZU850 8K Laser Projector with Optoma A01 lens. With the audience display in the main room dialed in we moved onto two confidence monitors for the various speakers, providing (1) Ikan 19.5" Field monitor and (1) Ikan MS21 21.5" studio/field monitors. to serve all of these we broke out (1) Roland VR50HD and (2) Macbook Pro 15" running Keynote and Adobe Acrobat in tandem. Add on the DSAN Perfect Cue Mini for good measure and we were ready to move onto the breakout rooms. Each breakout room was furnished with a house-provided TV and (1) Moore PA Hire provided Mac Mini and (1) Logitech wireless presenter R400.

For lighting, we rigged up (10) ETC Source 4 Minis, all with 50 degree lenses, on (6) Manfrotto 032B Autopoles. For pipe and drape, we brought in 128 feet of black velour pipe and drape to create the various breakout rooms.

05.06.2019 - Princegate Corporation at a private club

On May 6th Moore PA Hire provided video and audio equipment and services for the Princegate Corporation while they met at a private club in Manhattan.

For video we set our client up with (2) Sharp Aquos 80" plasma screens, both on 84" Premier Mounts. To feed the TVs we provided (1) Macbook Pro 15" and the ever-reliable Roland VR50HD to smoothly switch from a hold screen to the client provided video content.

For audio, we began with (1) Mackie DL 1608. For microphones we provided (2) Shure UR-2 handheld mics and (3) Shure UR-1 lavalier mics, all served by our Shure UR4D receiver rack. For speakers we rolled out (4) L'Acoustic 108P along with all cabling necessary.
