This week, we were in the New York Athletic Club to provide audio and video services for their annual Collegiate Boxing Event.

For audio, we went with the Mackie DL16S. We had four L’Acoustics 112P Speakers set up around the room. For microphones we used a Shure ULXD4-g50 Handheld mic for the ring announcer. Then we also set up a Sennheiser MKH-416 Shotgun Mic mounted on the mezzanine to capture the sounds of the fights.

For video, capture was handled by the LSE-1. Two Birddog P4K PTZ Cameras were used, controlled by a Skaarhoj Controller. Additionally a Sony PMW-F5, manned by a camera man was used to track the fight. Two 70’’ Televisions were set up on rolling stands, as well as an Optoma 8K Laser projector to display an iMag of the fight.
