1.9.26, 1.10.26, and 1.11.26 - New York Hilton Midtown - APAP

Moore PA returned to the Hilton Hotel on 6th Avenue for the annual APAP conference, providing AV services for one of the showcases that ran through the weekend. We recorded line-cuts and multi-tracked every performance, giving the option for the musicians to have a quality piece of content after the fact.

For audio needs we brought out our Yamaha QL5 mixer, paired with (2) Yamaha RIOs, and (8) L'Acoustics X8 speakers. We also, included (4) L'Acoustics 108P speakers for monitor mixes.

We supplied lighting for the event and recording which included (3) Aputure 300X units for stage wash. In addition we setup

For the video capture we brought in (4) Sony FR7's to the event. two of which were set up in the back of the room and the other two set up to the left and right of the audience. These were all fed into the LSE-2 rack for cam control and ultimately to our Atomos Sumo SE recorder. For best results we used (3) Aputure 300x lights with soft boxes for optimal stage wash. Lastly the shots came together with the addition of green drape and our Quadsar T8 Tube lights for uplight.

11.17.25 - NYAC Gym - All Sports Dinner

 Moore PA Hire was asked to come and work an event at the New York Athletic Club for the All Sports Dinner. Moore PA Hire came to supply all high tech gear of video, audio, lighting, and staging. 

For audio, we had our Yamaha QL1 set up alongside of our L'Acoustics X8's, shotgun room mics, and podium mics. 

For video, we were able to display two of our projector screens alongside of our (4) 85in TV monitors. 

Moore PA Hire was also asked to video record this event. This included; our LSE, (6) FR7's for capture, (2) follow spot lights. 

For staging, we were able to pipe and drape the NYAC Gym as well covering some of the basketball boards. 

As there were couple hundred people attending, we wanted to make sure every inch of the gym was covered with speakers, mics, pipe/drape, and video displays for attendees to see and listen.

11.4.25 - Club 101 - Kylemore Abbey

 Moore PA Hire supported an event for Kylemore Abbey at Club 101. For this event, Moore PA Hire brought in the Yamaha QL1 followed by the Yamaha RIO. We set up (4) L'Acoustics X8's in the space. 

Video was supported by (2) of our 85in TV monitors to the left and right of the stage. We brought in our Roland VR-120 for switching between slides. Moore PA Hire also built 18' W x 8' D x 9" H stage for the event with our stage skirt.

11.14.24 - Ireland-U.S. Council Dinner at the Metropolitan Club

 Moore P.A. were at the Metropolitan Club for the Ireland-U.S.Council’s Annual Dinner, where we provided audio, lighting and video services. Let’s get into it.

For video, we captured the footage using a Sony FX6, mounted on a Manfrotto Tripod. The ATOMOS Sumo Monitor was also used for External Capture. Four 85’’ LCD Televisions were set up around the room to display content and were mounted on Rolling Stands. Content was served via the ASUS Zenbook Pro Server Kit and mixed by the Roland VR-120. 


For audio, we went with the Yamaha QL1 digital mixer, as well as the Yamaha RIO #1 and L’Acoustics LA-8. Two L’acoustics 108P and four L’Acoustics X8 were used as speakers. For Microphones we had Shure MX418C podium mics up on stage for both the speakers and musical guests. 


For lights, we had an Aputure LS 300x equipped with a 36 degree Spotlight Lens, as well as four Quasar Science Q30 T8 LED Tube Lights behind the stage. Additionally, we provided the necessary pipe and drape for the event.

9.19.24 HSS at the New York Athletic Club

 We were back in the New York Athletic Club today for the Hospital for Special Surgery Board of Trustees meeting. 

We had a unique set up today where the attendees were seated at a long U-shaped table, as pictured below and then one speaker stood at a podium in the center. Six additional speakers were sat up onstage as well. For this, we provided a total of twenty-four Shure MX418C Podium Mics around the room. These were then all fed into the Yamaha RIO #1, in the center of the tables via three 50’ 12 Channel Snakes. The Yamaha QL5 mixing board was used, along with the L’Acoustics LA-8 amp. Four L’Acoustics X8 speakers were placed around the room.


We had three Birddog P4K PTZ Cameras set up to show off the panel, which were fed into the LSE-1 production rack. The LSE-1 was used for recording and streaming of the event, using vMix. We also vMix to include virtual attendees and panelists via Zoom. The VR-120 AV Mixer and Switcher was used to display content from the ASUS Zenbook Pro laptops. This content was then shown on three of our 85’’ LCD Televisions which were placed around the room on rolling stands.


For lighting we used the Aputure LS 300X along with four Quasar Science T8 tube lights which were placed at the back of the stage. We also provided pipe and drape onstage as well as at the back of the room to hide the control center.

08.07.24 - Activent Marketing with Hey Dude at The Bowery Hotel

 Moore PA Hire returned to the Bowery Hotel for a fantastic event for Hey Dude with Activist Marketing to provide audio, video, lighting, power, and staging equipment and services.  Let's jump in!

For audio, we provided (6) L'Acoustic 112P, (2) L'Acoustic SB218 and (1) L'Acoustic LA-8 that was also tied into the Bowery's house system.  For the DJ rig, we supplied (2) CDJ3000s and (1) Pioneer DMJ 900 NX2.

For video, we began with (1) Roland VR120 which fed (5) TVs across the entire space. (2) 70" TVs were provided by us whilst the other (3) were provided by the venue.  We used (1) Asus Zenbook Pro Kit to serve the content from.   Lastly, we provided (3) SDI to HDMI convertors with all the necessary cables to tie together all TVs.  

For lighting, we used (4) Rogue R2 and (4) GLP X4S on (2) truss towers controlled by (1) Command Wing and (1) MA laptop.  For additional lighting, we provided (24) wireless LED uprights around the space, with (2) dimmable Quasar Science Q30 T8 for the step and repeat background.  

Lastly, we provided (1) 1200A Motion Labs for power distribution and (2) 6' x 4' decks for additional staging.

02.13.24 - Equitable at The New York Athletic Cub

Moore PA Hire pulled into the loading dock at The New York Athletic Club to provide audio, video, and lighting equipment and services for the annual Equitable awards gala.

For audio, we began with (1) Yamaha QL5 and (1) Yamaha Rio 1608D. This mixed (1) Shure MX418C and (4) channels of Shure ULXD4Q wirless mics. The mix was fed to (6) L'Acoustics X8 and (2) L'Acoustics 108P, covering the 9th floor lounge and card room.

For video, we began with (1) Roland VR50-HD feeding (4) 82" TVs and (2) 70" TVs for content and presentations for the lounge and card room.  Feeding the Roland mixer was (1) ASUS Zenbook Pro with (1) Perfect Cue.

 For lighting, we provided (2) ETC Lustr Series 2, (4) Quasar Science Q30 T8, and (24) ADJ Wifly wireless LED lights.

01.30.24 - Abercrombie & Fitch Store Event

 The Moore PA Hire team headed to the Abercrombie store located on 5th avenue to provide audio and lighting equipment and services for their McLaren collaboration.  For this event, the McLaren team brought a F1 race car into the Abercrombie showroom for an amazing event.  Let's begin!

For audio, we began with (1) Yamaha QL1 and (1) Yamaha RIO 1608D.  For speakers, we provided (4) L'Acoustic 112P, (2) L'Acoustic's SB 15P, and (8) L'Acoustic X8.  Additionally, provided (1) DJ rig which consisted of (2) Pioneer CDJ 3000 and (1) Pioneer DJM 900 Nxs2.  For microphones, we used (1) Shure ULXD4-G50 providing us with 4 channels of microphones and (1) Shure wireless handheld mic for the DJ.  

For lighting, we built 4 truss towers.  Each truss tower included (1) Rogue R2, (1) GLP X4S, and (1) ETC Lustr S2.  These towers provided lighting for the F1 racing car placed in the middle of the showroom, as well as additional lighting for the ceiling.  We also placed (24) LED wireless uplights along the walls and provided a safe, lit path for attendees to access the upstairs facilities.  For even more lighting, we provided (24) Colorblast TRX, (2) Quasar Science Q30 T8, and (12) ETC S4 4 Mini throughout the space.  Lastly, we finished things off with (8) Astera Tital wireless LEDs to provided additional lighting underneath the race car.
