06.28.2018 Party @ The Church of St Paul the Apostle

On May 28th Moore PA Hire provided audio, video, lighting, and staging equipment and services for a send-off Father Gil at The Church of St Paul the Apostle on Columbus & 60th street. Here's how we did it.

For lighting, we lit the outside of the church as well as the inside. For the outside, we provided (10) ETC S4WRD, all with EDLT lenses. These were mounted on (3) sticks of 8ft truss, which in turn were supported by Mobiltech ALP-5 crank-up stands. Furthermore we provided pipe and base and (8) 25lb sand-bags to keep everything safe. We added (24) Colorblast TRX as well. We rolled all the Dual50 and edison cabling we needed and the outside was ready.
For lighting inside, we provided (8) ETC Lustr Series 2, again with EDLT lenses, to create a wash across the entire ceiling of the church. All were mounted on Impact Turtle Base C-Stands and connected with all DMX cabling needed. We set-up (6) ETC S4WRD to light te tomb of Father Hecker, as well as the stage, and we were all set to jump into video world.

For video, began with the Production Bot Switch 8. Heading to the displays were a number of videos, slideshows, and camera feeds. For cameras we provided (3) Panasonic PX-270s, one of which was handheld outside the church to reveal the new lighting we were providing. For displays, we provided (2) 80-inch Sharp Aquos TVs and (2) 70-inch Sharp Aquos Quatron  TVs, all on Premier Mounts stands.
To route all content to the screens we put in line (1) ATEM 2 M/E, giving us access to six separate auxiliary outputs. To feed the Atem we rigged up (2) Macbook Pro 15", running a combination of Playback Pro and PowerPoint, alongside the Production Bot Switch 8.

For audio, we began with (1) Yamaha QL-1 and (4) L'Acoustics 108P., all on Ultimate Support Tripods. For microphones we provided (2) Shure MX418 podium mics, as well as (2) Shure UR2 handheld mics paired with Shure UR4D receivers.

With all that done, we set up (3) 8x4 sections of stage. skirted it, and we were ready to get the show on the road!

6/21/18 - Tourism Ireland event - Pier A, Battery Park

On June 21st 2018, the Moore PA Hire Inc. provided an Audio Visual package to Tourism Ireland and Visit Derry for their combined event at Pier A, Battery Park . 
The video component of our package consisted of a number of 50" & 70" Samsung plasma display  to show a combination of our clients' video and also their powerpoint using 2 of our MacBook Pro laptops and our Roland VR-50 AV mixer to ensure a seamless presentation.
For audio, we provided two L'Acoustics 112P, a Yamaha QL-1 digital audio console, and a Shure MX 418 podium mic for accurate and effective audio reinforcement and control. 
As this was for trade only, there were a number of videographers and photographers present so lighting was important. We provided two Source Four Series 2 Lustr which is a premium LED color changing fixture from ETC to replace their industry standard Source 4 - this provided a pleasing aesthetic for ambient & podium lighting.

6/15/18 - Council on Foreign Relations at The Cosmopolitan Club

On June 15th, 2018, Moore PA Hire provided the sound for a meeting of the Council of Foreign Relations at The Cosmopolitan Club. For this small event, we used our Shure MX418 podium mic powered by our Yamaha QL1 with the sound from our L'Acoustic 108P monitors and the Yamaha RIO1608.

6/20/18 - Kase Learning Presentation at the New York Athletic Club - Colonial Suite

On June 20th, 2018 Moore PA Hire provided video for a presentation by Kase Learning at the Colonial Suite in The New York Athletic Club in Manhattan. We loaded our Macbook Pro with their Powerpoint Presentation which was then shown on our 70'' Sharp Aquos Class Quatron LCD Screen displays.

06/11/2018 - The Irish American Bar Association at Federal Hall

On June 11th, 2018 Moore P.A. Hire provided audio for The Irish American Bar Association at Federal Hall. For this small gathering, the sound was made up of our Yamaha QL5s and a Yamaha RIO 1608 systems. We used a Shure MX 418 podium mic, and a Yamaha QL-1 digital audio console for accurate and effective audio reinforcement and control.

06/08/2018 - Big Apple BBQ at Madison Square Park

On June 8th, 2018 Moore P.A. Hire provided audio for the Big Apple BBQ at Madison Square Park. The sound elements consisted of our Yamaha QL1 in combination with the Yamaha RIO1608 digital stage box and CAT 5 snake controlling our L'acoustics 112P speakers. We also used our subwoofers with our L'Acoustics LA-8 amplifier, L'Acoustics dV DOSC line-array with dV Subs controlled by our Yamaha QL5 digital sound console, and our Yamaha Rio digital stage box.

6/5/2018 - Stepping up Ceremony at the Collegiate School Gymnasium

On June 6th, 2018 Moore P.A. Hire provided an AV package for a graduation ceremony at The Collegiate School. 

The audio elements consisted of our Yamaha QL1 with Yamaha RIO1608 digital stage box and CAT 5 snake controlling our L'acoustics DV DOSC Line array system. 

The Content captured by our Panasonic AJ-PX270, and Sony A7S ii cameras was served to our to our 80" Dsiplays controlled from our self-built LSE rack which consists of the Blackmagic Design ATEM 1.

6/02/2018 - Atlas Obscura - Garden Party at Untermeyer Gardens

On June 2nd, 2018 Moore P.A. Hire provided audio and lighting for an event held by Atlas Obscura at the Untermyer Park and Gardens. For lighting we used our Source Four LED Series 2 in combination with the ColorBlast TRX in pink, blue, and red. We also used the iSource 4WRD LED lights with Enhanced Definition Lens Tube. All of this was controlled from our Wireless DMX ShoW Baby remote. The audio elements consisted of our Yamaha QL1 in combination with the Yamaha RIO1608 digital stage box and CAT 5 snake controlling our L'acoustics 112P speakers.
