06.02.26 - NYAC - ETP Forum

     Moore PA Hire provided AV services for the ETP Forum, hosted in the New York Athletic Club; this setup featured (2) 6M x 2.5 M Gloshine LED walls on the 9th an 11th floors for a full day of concurrent sessions. For both floors we also provided multi-cam recording, extensive audio coverage, and TVs around the venue displaying the agenda. Lets get into it.

    For audio we used (16) L'Acoustics X8 speakers between both floor, all with (2) LA-4 amp racks, this also allowed us 8 channels of wireless audio per floor. On the 9th floor we used a Yamaha DM-7 for room control, while on the 11th we used the Yamaha QL-8, each providing a clear mix to the room and record sends.

    For video as I said we set up (2) 6M x 2.5 M Gloshine LED walls, which framed the camera shots of all the sessions with client provided backdrops, in addition (6) 34" TV's for various expo tables, and (3) 72" LCD displays for digital signage. Lastly we added (2) 70" TV's on the 9th and 11th floor each for IMAG, allowing guests at the back of the room to see a clear shot of the stage. To capture we used a total of (6) Sony FR-7 PTZ cameras between the two floors, allowing for a clean line cut provided immediately after the event ended. To enhance the image we also used (2) Aputure 300x lights with 36 degree spotlight lenses, giving a clean stage wash. To brighten up the space MPA also used (16) RGBA LED Strip lights, giving a concise, professional look to the event. Check out some photos below!

 

   

    

 

 

 

 

 

 

04.07.26 - NYAC - AAU Sullivan Awards

        The Moore PA crew pulled out all the stops for this one, providing AV Services for the 96th Sullivan Award show/broadcast. We provided audio, video (dispaly & capture) and lighting to support our clients' ;ivestream to ESPN+ 

    Starting audio, we set up (8) L'Acoustics X8 Speakers between the Lounge and Cardroom, all powered by (1) LA-4 rack, this was controlled with (1) Yamaha DM-7 mixer, with eight channels of wireless audio, combining handheld mics, and a Shure wireless podium mic with a shotgun capsule for clear and concise audio from podium speakers.

    Moving onto video, we setup (4) separate LED walls around the room, the center wall is our Gloshine P 2.6 high refresh rate wall which was 9M wide by 3M high. In the corners of the Lounge and north wall of the Cardroom were three VMX Walls, each 3.5M wide by 2M high, each hung with a Genie ST-20 crank up stand. All the walls were processed with (2) Novastar MX-40 racks, carrying fiber to CVT-10 boxes behind each screen. Content was served via Resolume Arena and vMix servers and switched with a combination of Roland VR-120 and Pixelhue P20. On screen display was a mix of iMag, videos, and for the big wall a live background for the program. As the streaming aspect was the priority for this event, we setup (3) Sony FR-7 PTZ cameras, and (1) FX-6 camera feeding into the in-room display and an outbound broadcast. Lastly we worked with a teleprompter operator, helping the program flow smoothly with a presidential style teleprompter. 

    For staging needs we used (5) Aputure 300x and (2) 400x lights with soft boxes for stage wash and off stage interviews. In addition we setup blue pipe and drape around the walls for a clean look.
