12.07.24 Smirnoff Ice for Proof Media at Union Square

 Moore PA Hire went to Union Square to provide audio, video, and lighting equipment and services for an exciting Smirnoff Ice event with Proof Media.  Let's jump in!

For audio, we provided (1) Shure ULXD4Q to give us four channels of wireless mics for the various performers and emcees. Additionally, we provided (2) Pioneer CDJ 3000s and (1) Pioneer DJM 900 NX2 for the DJ.  For speakers, we provided (8) L'Acoustic X8, (4) L'Acoustic 112P, (2) L'Acoustic SB 15P subs, and (1) L'Acoustics LA-4X amp rack.  

For video, we provided (4) flat LED walls using our new P2.6 Gloshine panels for two activation areas to display content.  We used (1) Novastar MX40 processor to power the wall and were linked by (2) CVT10S fiber converter boxes.  Feeding the LED walls was our production rack, the LSE-2 using Resolume Arena 7, to display a variety of dynamic graphics provided by the client.

For lighting, we used (24) wireless LED uprights and (1) Fuel Lighting Kit.

01.30.24 - Abercrombie & Fitch Store Event

 The Moore PA Hire team headed to the Abercrombie store located on 5th avenue to provide audio and lighting equipment and services for their McLaren collaboration.  For this event, the McLaren team brought a F1 race car into the Abercrombie showroom for an amazing event.  Let's begin!

For audio, we began with (1) Yamaha QL1 and (1) Yamaha RIO 1608D.  For speakers, we provided (4) L'Acoustic 112P, (2) L'Acoustic's SB 15P, and (8) L'Acoustic X8.  Additionally, provided (1) DJ rig which consisted of (2) Pioneer CDJ 3000 and (1) Pioneer DJM 900 Nxs2.  For microphones, we used (1) Shure ULXD4-G50 providing us with 4 channels of microphones and (1) Shure wireless handheld mic for the DJ.  

For lighting, we built 4 truss towers.  Each truss tower included (1) Rogue R2, (1) GLP X4S, and (1) ETC Lustr S2.  These towers provided lighting for the F1 racing car placed in the middle of the showroom, as well as additional lighting for the ceiling.  We also placed (24) LED wireless uplights along the walls and provided a safe, lit path for attendees to access the upstairs facilities.  For even more lighting, we provided (24) Colorblast TRX, (2) Quasar Science Q30 T8, and (12) ETC S4 4 Mini throughout the space.  Lastly, we finished things off with (8) Astera Tital wireless LEDs to provided additional lighting underneath the race car.

04.20.23 - Bulleit for Proof Media at Diageo Headquarters

 Moore PA Hire teamed up with Proof Media for at an event at 3 WTC for Bulleit Whiskey to provide audio and lighting equipment and services.  Let's dive into it!

For audio, we began with (1) Yamaha QL1 and (1) Yamaha Yamaha Rio 1608D.  For microphones, we used (1) ULXD4-G50, (1) ULXD1 handheld and (2) ULXD2 lavaliers all mixed.  For speakers, we provided (6) L'Acoustic 112P and (2) L'Acoustic SB15P.  Finally, we used a DJM 900NSX2 mixer and a Pioneer DDJ-1000STR controller for the DJ. 

For lighting, we provided (24) Wireless LED uplights with all the necessary cables and powering.

09.17.22 - Walk and Wag event with North Shore Animal League

 Moore PA Hire headed over to the shore of the Hudson River to provide audio and staging equipment and services for the North Shore Animal League as they hosted their latest Walk and Wag event.

For audio, we began with (4) L'Acoustics 112P flown from crank-up stands. These were paired with (2) L'Acoustics SB-15P. For audio sources, we provided (1) Shure ULXD4Q serving 4 channels of wireless microphones. These were all safely on mic stands with boom arms and tied into (1) Mackie DL16S. We also provided (2) Pioneer CDJ-2000 and (1) Pioneer DJM Nexus 900 mixer to set the scene. 

For staging we provided (4) 6ftx4ft decks of staging on 2ft legs and a stairs kit for easy access to the stage.

09.18.21 - Virgin Voyages featuring Major Lazer Sound System

 This is was a new venue for Moore PA Hire - namely an 18 floor cruise ship docked at Pier 88 in Manhattan! This full day event featured some of the biggest names in music, headlined by Major Lazer Sound System. 

Our set-up included all L'Acoustics speakers and monitors, alongside (1) Yamaha QL-5 and an array of Pioneer CDJ-3000s and DJM Nexus mixers. In action for a series of events throughout the day sponsored by Thrillist & Revvel alongside Virgin Voyages, our system provided plenty of power for the hundreds of attendees dancing along late into the night.

For video we built an LED video wall 12ft wide and 3ft high to serve as a DJ facade, with content mixed lived and served by Resolume Arena.
