10.01.26 - NYAC President’s Room - Barretstown Foundation USA

Moore PA Hire returned to the New York Athletic Club President’s Room for Barretstown Foundation USA’s annual breakfast program, providing audio, video display, lighting, staging, photography, and multi-camera recording. Following setup and testing the afternoon before, our operating crew returned early the next morning to have the room ready for guests and the 8:00 AM program.

The presentation setup centered around (2) 75” displays positioned on either side of the stage for slides and video playback. Our laptop server and switching package handled presentation content throughout the morning, with an MPA acrylic podium and blue drape completing the stage setup. The room was configured for a seated breakfast, followed by the main speaking program and two-person interview.

Audio was mixed on our Yamaha DM-7 console and distributed through (4) L’Acoustics X8 speakers powered by our LA-4 rack. The microphone package included (4) wireless handhelds and a dedicated podium microphone, covering both the formal remarks and the interview portion of the program.

For video capture, we used our LSE recording system with (3) Sony FR-7 PTZ cameras and Skaarhoj camera control to build a live multi-camera line cut of the event. The three-camera setup allowed our operator to move between speaker closeups, interview coverage, and wider views of the stage and audience while maintaining isolated production coverage throughout the morning.

To give the stage a little more shape on camera, we added (2) Aputure 300 fixtures with 36-degree spotlight mounts along with a kit of (4) Nanlite PavoTube 30C fixtures. The result was a warm, polished breakfast setup that stayed visually consistent across the room, presentation screens, and recorded program.
