04.11.24 - Glass Ceiling - UN Foundation Girl Up

 The Moore PA Hire team went to The Glass Ceiling to provide audio equipment and services for the Girl Up United Nations Foundation.  Let's dive in!

For audio, we provided (2) ULXD4Q-G50 providing us with 8 digital audio channels with (2) UA874 Active Direction Antenna with stands.  We used (1) Yamaha DM3-D digital mixer. and supplied (8) ULXD wireless handhelds microphones.  Additionally we provided (1) MacBook Pro Server with Spotify Premium for background music.   For speakers, we used (4) L'Acoustic X8.  Lastly, we brought all the necessary cables and system power.

06.25.2019 - Arcadium @ Hudson Yards

On June 25th Moore PA Hire loaded into a brand new space in Hudson Yards to provide audio, video, and power distribution equipment and services for a pop-up brand space called Arcadium. Let's get going.

For audio, we began with (1) Mackie DL1608 and our L'Acoustic LA-8 amp rack. For speakers we provided (10) L'Acoustics 8XTi, cabled up with as much NL4 cable as needed. The pop-up was active for 10 days, but on some specific nights we provided additional audio equipment, as follows. We provided (1) Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nxs, Rane SL4 Serato Scratch Live, and our Shure UR4D rack paired with (3) Shure UR2 Handheld microphones. We also provided (2) L'Acoustics 108P, and (1) mic stand as needed throughout the activation.
For video we provided (1) LG UK6300PUE 50" display and (1) Samsung RU7100 43" HDR 4K display.
For power distribution we rolled in with (1) Motion Labs ETL 400amp distro., our camlock tie-in set, (2) 50amp GFCI Spider Boxes, along with all edison and soccapex cable needed. We laid down our 3ft ADA compliant cable ramp and we were good to go!

8/18/2014 - The Meat Packing District Improvement Association Summer Performance Series at the Ganzvoort Plaza in NYC

On August eighteenth 2014, the Moore PA Hire team was asked to provide sound, staging and a shade roof at Gansevoort Plaza for the Meat Packing District Improvement Association.  For sound, we brought in our L'Acoustcis self powered speaker system consisting of 112Ps, 108Ps and SB15Ps all controlled via (2) Avid Profile digital mixing consoles.  You can see how we constructed the stage and roof via crank up stands and truss.  Please take a moment and have a look at some pictures of the event below.

2/16/2012: Tourism Ireland Event at The New York Athletic Club

On February 16th, the Moore PA Hire team was asked to provide A/V support for  Tourism Ireland promotional, media only event at The New York Athletic Club.  The focus of this event was to launch a three minute video commercial in addition to two thirty second video commercials for general release to North American Cinemas.  We provided sound via our L-Acoustics powered speaker system, video via our Dataton Watchout system, IMAG (image magnification) using out Christie and Sanyo digital projectors, live video capture, stage and architectural lighting.  The featured speaker for this event was Taoiseach Enda Kenny, Ireland's current Prime Minister.  Please take a moment to have a look at some pictures and a video montage of this wonderful event below.

2/9/2012: Oster Media Presents Leila Shams Afterparty

On February 9th, the Moore PA Hire team was asked to help set up Sound, Lighting and Video for the after party of Oster Media presents Leila Shams during New York Fashion Week.  We also provided video support for the Leila Shams showcase at The Empire Hotel.  For the after party, we supplied LED Lighting, Video Support, a Macbook Pro, Standard lighting, Gobo Lighting, Hi-Fi sound via our L-Acoustics speaker system, backline rental, and Pipe and Drape.  The event was a huge success, as evidenced by the pictures below.  Please have a look.

12/6/2011: Andrea Bocelli Performance and Interview on Good Morning America

On December 6th, 2011 the Moore P.A. Hire Team was asked to reinforce the sound on the set of ABC's Good Morning America for Andrea Bocelli's interview and performance.  This was another application where (6) of our Hi Fidelity, Self Powered L-Acoustics 108P served extremely well as compact, yet powerful monitors, as you can see from the pictures. The microphones of choice, Schoeps Colette series modular microphones were supplied by Jim Flynn Rentals. We also used a Heritage 3000 for studio sound.
