12/16/2016 - Collegiate School Holiday Program - Church of St. Paul the Apostle Christmas

On December 16, 2016, Moore P.A. Hire Inc. provided both audio and video for The Collegiate School holiday Christmas program at the Church of Saint Paul the Apostle.  
For audio, we used a combination of (12) of our dV Dosc speakers, supported by our (2) Genie ST 20s towers for consistent audio distribution. Our (4) L'Acoustics 8XT self-powered compact enclosure speakers provided front fill on stage, while (6) of our L'Acoustics 112P self-powered compact enclosure speakers were used as monitors for the ensemble and the orchestra. Audio control was by our  Yamaha QL5 digital audio console with our CAT 5 300' snake. The orchestra was outfitted with a selection of mics which included (2) AKGC414 B-XLS, (6) of our AKG C3910B and a selection of DPA 4088 mics for close miking. we used a combination of Shure SM 58 wired and wireless mics for the 70 plus Choir. For the podium, (2) of our Shure MX418 mics were used by program directors and announcers. 
The video system we supplied consisted of (2) 6’ x 10’ 8” AV Stumpfl Monoblox S32 projection screens with (2) 6 K projectors, along with our (2) 70" splasma screens to ensure complete video coverage. We used one of our Macbook Pro to serve PPT content to our Roland VR-50HD Multi-Format AV Mixer. We also provided our Sony4K PXW-X70 on tripod w/ operator for crowd & choir shots, while our Canon Vixia provided fixed shots of the speakers from the pulpit. This content we then distributed to the four displays using AJA HD5DA & AJA Hi-5 system. This content consisting of not only IMAG Powerpoint naming the performers on a class by class basis but also included the live audio from the event was also archived onto our Atoms Shogun 4K SSD recorder for the client to further distribute to the school students and parents.

12/3/2016 - Christmas Tree Lighting Event : Sunnyside Chamber of Commerce

On December 3rd, the Moore P.A Hire team provided sound, lighting and staging for the Sunnyside Chamber of Commerce's Christmas Tree lighting/concert at 48th Street & Skillman Avenue in Queens.  Our audio system was comprised of (8) of our L’Acoustics 112P self-powered compact enclosure speakers, supported by our (2) Alp-5 Mobiltech crank up lifts. Our (2) Applied Electronics L-16 crank up lifts supported our (2) L'Acoustics SB15P subs; which were controlled from our Yamaha QL-1, along with our (3) Shure UR4D wireless mic systems. Our (4) Countryman E6-D head worn mic systems were utilized by the performers.  For lighting, we illuminated the venue with a combination of (24) Phillips ColorBlasts TRX RGBAW LED, (12) GLP Volkslight Zoom  and (10) of our Source 4WRDs for a "stage" wash and to add to the aura of the event.  For lighting control we used our MAonPC command and fader wings and these control signals were then distributed using our wireless DMX City Theatrical SHoW Baby. Our Unique II DMX haze machine was utilized on the 12' x 6' 2' stage we constructed. For video recording, we used a combination of our DJI Ronin M gimble and our Sony 4K PXW-X70 Professional XDCAM.

11/29/2016 - Event at National Sawdust for The Tour Managers

On November 29, 2016, Moore P.A. Hire Inc. provided sound for an event at the National Sawdust, hosted by The Tour Managers. We used (3) of our L'Acoustics LA-8 for power & processing of (6) of our L' Acoustics active 2-way dV Dosc and (6) dV Subs.

11/28/2016 - Tower Lighting at the Church of St. Paul the Apostle


On November 28, 2016, Moore P.A. Hire Inc. provided lighting for the North tower of the Church of Saint Paul the Apostle. We illuminated the N. tower of this historical church with with a combination of (12) GLP Volkslight Zoom with additive color mixing, along with (8) of our Source 4WRDs. For lighting control, we used our MAonPC command Wing. Control was distributed using our wireless DMX City Theatrical SHoW Baby.

11/17/2016 - Event at Church of Saint Paul the Apostle

On November 17, 2016, Moore P.A. Hire Inc. provided an event production package which consisted of audio and lighting in the Church of Saint Paul the Apostle for the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre. Our audio system consisted of (8) of our L'Acoustics 8XT compact speakers, powered and processed by one of our L'Acoustics LA8 amplified controllers. For audio control control, we used our Yamaha QL5 digital audio console. The speakers and presenters used (2) of our Shure MX418 mic systems at the podium. For lighting, we illuminated the basement venue of this beautiful church with a combination of (24) Phillips ColorBlasts TRX RGBAW LED wash / flood lights in conjunction with (12) of our RGBA LED strips. We also used (6) of our Source 4WRDs to project leaf patterned break-ups onto the ceilings. Birdies provided illumination for accent pieces around the venue. For lighting control, we use our MAonPC command distributed using (6) of our wireless DMX City Theatrical SHoW Baby.

11/17/2016 - U.S. Rowing Golden Oars Awards Dinner at the New York Athletic Club

On November 17, 2016, Moore P.A. Hire Inc. provided audio, video and lighting support for the U.S. Rowing Team at their annual Golden Oars awards Dinner at the New York Athletic Club. This event was hosted in the NYAC 9th dining room.
Our audio system consisted of (2) of our L’Acoustics 108P speakers for front fill, (4) of our L’Acoustics 112P self-powered speaker on tripods for Main PA. Audio was controlled by our Yamaha QL5 console with our Yamaha RIO1608 and CAT FIVE 300' snake. The speakers and presenters used (2) of our Shure MX418 mic systems at the podium. Our Shure ULX P4 hand held mic was used by the auctioneer in the execution of his duties.
The video system we supplied consisted of (2) 6’ x 10’ 8” screens AV Stumpfl Monoblox S32 with two 2.5K ultra short throw projectors, along with (2) Sharp Aquos 70" Class Quatron Smart HDTV to ensure complete video coverage. We used one of our Macbook Pro with playback, controlled by our Roland VR-50HD Multi-Format AV Mixer  to provide switched content of both 501 Auctions online silent auction and also the introductory videos of the athletes. We also recorded a switched copy of this event using our Atomos Shogun so that we could provide this copy to the client at the end of their event.
For lighting, we illuminated the upstage pipe and drape with (8) of our 24" RGBA LED strips & (2) of our Colorado VW variable white color temperature dimmable lights for a down-stage wash.
Our 16 oz. Velour Drapes helped give the stage and video a finished look.
