04.28.22 Capacity LLC at The New York Athletic Club

 Moore PA Hire pulled in to the New York Athletic Club loading dock to provide audio, video, hybrid livestreaming and multi-cam recording equipment and services for Capacity LLC as they held their annual meeting on the 11th floor. Let's dive in.

For video, we provided (4) 70 inch TVs fed by (1) Production Bot Switch 8 powered by vMix Pro. In addition to the in-room presenters, we also hosted a number of remote presenters via Zoom, integrated with vMix. Finally, we provided (1) Asus Zenbook Duo Pro to serve a series of slide decks, along with (4) Birddog P4K ptz cameras to record and livestream the full program.

For audio, we began with (1) Yamaha QL-1 and (1) Yamaha Rio 1608D. For microphones we provided (1) Shure MX418C podium mic alongside (1) Shure ULX4DQ hand held microphones as the presenters mostly preferred to stroll around the room while presenting! For speakers, we provided (6) L'Acoustics 112p.

04.20.22 - Kylemore Abbey Fundraiser at The 101 Club

 Moore PA Hire rolled in to the 101 Club to provide audio, video, lighting, multi-cam recording and livestreaming, and staging equipment and services for the annual Kylemore Abbey Fundraising event. We had previously worked with them on two all virtual events and it was a joy to be back in person. Let's jump in!

For audio, we started with (1) Yamaha QL1 and (1) Yamaha Rio 1608D. On stage, we laid out (3) Shure MX418C podium-style microphones, with (1) Shure ULXD4Q back at control to provide (4) channels of wireless mics. For the musical performance, we provided (2) DPA 4099V clip microphones. For speakers, we provided (4) L'Acoustics 112p and (2) L'Acoustics 108p.

On the video side of things, we rolled (4) 82" TVs to display various slides, videos, and fundraising metrics as the night went on. Continuing on to multi-cam recording and streaming, we rolled in with our premier livestream and recording production rack - the LSE-1. The rack consists of (1) vMix Pro server, (1) Blackmagic Design 12x12 Cleanswitch, (1) Netgear M4250 switch for high-bandwidth connectivity, and a fully managed Ubiquti networking setup. Tied into this were (3) Birddog P4K ptz cameras discreetly spread around the space to capture the presenters at the podium as well as the in-person audience. The full program was cut inside vMix Pro and streamed out to the Irish American Partnership website via Moore PA's own content delivery network (CDN).

For lighting, we provided (2) ETC Lustr Series 2 as well as (4) Quasar Science Q30 T8 to set the stage. Speaking of the stage, we provided (3) 6ft x 4 ft decks on 12" legs, as well as green velour pipe & drape for the backdrop.

04.13.22 - Citizen's Budget Commision at The 101 Club

 Moore PA Hire turned onto 41st street in Manhattan to provide video, audio, staging, and lighting equipment and services at the 101 Club. Our client was the Citizen's Budget Commission for another edition of their monthly press conference breakfasts with notable leaders from the New York metro area. Our scope of work was to cater to the in-person audience, as well as record the program to hand off to the client for future distribution.

For video, we began with (3) Birddog P4K. The camera feeds were fed into (1) Production Bot Switch 8, built around vMix Pro. The line cut as well as isolated camera recordings were also recorded internally and later transcoded before hand-off.

For audio, we began with (1) Mackie DL-16S and (3) Shure MX418 podium-style microphones on short-stands. For speakers we provided (4) L'Acoustics 112P and (2) L'Acoustics 108P to ensure optimal coverage across the room. 

For staging we provided (3) 4ft x 6ft decks on 18inch legs as well as green velour pipe & drape to set the stage. As for lighting we provided (4) Quasars to uplight the client-provided branded backdrop.

04/12/22 - Appraiser Association of America Luncheon at The New York Athletic Club

 

Moore PA Hire headed to the New York Athletic Club to once again provide audio, video, livestreaming, and lighting equipment and services for the annual Appraisers Association of America. 

As we set up on the 9th floor, we began with (1) Yamaha QL1 and (1) Yamaha Rio 1608D. For speakers, rolled in (6) L'acoustics 112p and (2) L'Acoustics 108p for front fill. For microphones, we provided (4) Shure MX418C podium-style microphones.

For video, we brought in (2) 82inch TVs to flank the stage, and (4) 70inch TVs to cover the overflow in the 9th floor lounge and Card Room. These displayed a series of PowerPoint presentations and videos cued by the presenters who took the stage throughout the afternoon.

To serve this content, as well as capture and stream the event, we provided (1) Production Bot Switch 8 and (2) Asus Zenbook Duo Pro. Tied into the Production Bot were (4) Birddog P4K ptz cameras. The event was switched by our team onsite and streamed out to the client's own Youtube channel for their remote audience joining from around the country. 

For lighting, we provided (4) ETC Lustr Series 2 and (4) Quasar Science LED tubes to set the stage for a fascinating discussion about appraising art in the current climate.

04.10.22 - The Rockaway Hotel Wild Film Festival

 Moore PA Hire headed out to the beach to provided audio and video equipment and services for the Wild Film Festival, as they hosted their event at one of our favorite venues, The Rockaway Hotel. Let's go!

For video, we began with twelve panels of Infiled P3.9 LED wall. These were assembled and mounted on our own 12ft by 4ft stage. The LEDs were controlled by (1) Novastar VX4S, which in turn was fed by (1) Roland VR50HD Mk2. The content was served from (1) Asus Zenbook Duo Pro.

For audio, we flanked the stage with (2) L'Acoustics 108P, mounted atop (2) L'Acoustics SB 15P. For microphones we provided (1) Shure ULXD4Q and the whole system was tied together by (1) Yamaha QL-1.
