05.31.23 - Build Fest at The Bowery Hotel

 Moore PA Hire headed downtown to provide audio, video, multi-cam recording, staging and lighting equipment and services for the annual Build Fest event at the Bowery Hotel. Let's jump in!

 For audio, we began (1) Yamaha QL-1 and (1) Yamaha Rio 1608-D. For speakers, we made use of The Bowery Hotel's excellent in-house system. For microphones, we provided (1) Shure MX418C podium microphone, along with (1) Shure ULXD4Q to give us 4 channels of wireless microphones to be used by the roaming presenters throughout the event.

For video, we rolled in our premier livestream and recording production rack - the LSE-1. The rack consists of (1) vMix Pro server, (1) Blackmagic Design 12x12 Cleanswitch, (1) Netgear M4250 switch for high-bandwidth connectivity, and a fully managed Ubiquti networking setup. Tied into this were (4) Birddog P4K cameras, with each being recorded separately to be edited after the fact. Additionally, we provided (2) Asus Zenbook Duo Pros to serve the various client-provided videos and PowerPoints. For the couple hundred attendees in the room, we hung (2) Optoma ZU850 8K laser projectors and (2) AV Stumpfl 10ft x 6ft projection screens, one above the stage and one in the adjoining room. Finally, we provided all necessary cabling and adapters to interface with three of The Bowery Hotel's in-house TVs. 

For lighting, we provided (24) ADJ WiFly LED uplights as well as (8) ETC Luster Series 2, some for the stage and some to shoot client-provided gobos onto the walls of the event space.

For staging, we provided an 12ft x 8ft stage on 16"legs. We rounded off the stage set-up by providing 16ft of black velour pipe & drape to serve as a backdrop.

05.19.23 - Johnnie Walker for Proof Media at Forest Hills Stadium

 Moore PA Hire headed out to Forrest Hills Stadium to once again join forces with Proof Media. This time our plan was to provide (1) 6ft x 6ft LED wall to serve as a photo-moment for the Johnnie Walker pop-up at the Head in the Clouds music Festival.

We began by setting up (1) 6ft x 4ft stage on 16 inch legs. Atop this we built a ground-supported LED wall comprising of (8) Infiled P3.9 LED panels controlled by (1) Novastar VX4S. We provided (1) Razer Blade 15 Advanced laptop running Resolume Arena to serve the client-provided content.

05.18.23 - Smirnoff Ice for Proof Media at Webster Hall

 Moore PA Hire headed to Webster Hall for our first return to the venue since their extensive renovations. The mission was to provide audio, video, and lighting equipment and services for Proof Media as they produced a launch party for Smirnoff Ice, featuring T-Pain.

For audio, we provided (2) Shure ULXD4Q to give us eight channels of wireless mics for the various performers. Additionally, we provided a combination of Pioneer CDJ2000s, Pioneer CDJ 3000s, and Pioneer DJM Nexus' as requested by the perfomers' teams.

For video, we rolled in with the dynamic duo of the LSE-1 & LSE-2.The LSE-1 consists of (1) vMix Pro server, (1) Blackmagic Design 12x12 Cleanswitch, (1) Netgear M4250 switch for high-bandwidth connectivity, and a fully managed Ubiquti networking setup. We used this rack as a hub for control as well as a central server the content headed to the dozens of in-house TVs around the venue. The LSE-2 is very similar but is used to expand our high-quality content capabilities. The rack consists of (1) Resolume Arena server, (1) Ubiquiti 150W PoE switch for scalable connectivity, and a fully managed Ubiquti networking setup power by the Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro. Loaded with the full Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, as well as Da Vinci Resolve and Shutter Encoder, allows us to ingest, create, and edit high quality video content ahead of time and during the event before feeding independent streams to multiple destinations. In this case, our displays were two in-house LED walls on stage that needed to dynamically respond to the show as it progressed.

For lighting, we provided (10) ETC Luster Series 2 and (8) ETC Source4WRDs to set the mood around the venue. We also provided (8) Quasars for their red carpet moment.

5.10.23 - Club 101 - Kylemore Abbey Fundraiser

 Moore PA Hire pulled into the 101 Club to provide audio,video, lighting, and staging equipment and services for their annual Kylemore Abbey Fundraiser.  Let's get started!

For audio, we started with (1) Yamaha QL1 and (1) Yamaha RIO 1680D.  For microphones, we provided (1) Shure MX418C podium style mic with (2) Shure ULXD4-G50 wireless microphones for the auctioneer and interviews.  For speakers, we used (6) L'Acoustic 108P.

For video, we rolled in our livestream and recording production rack - the LSE-1. The rack consists of (1) vMix Pro server, (1) Blackmagic Design 12x12 Cleanswitch, (1) Netgear M4250 switch for high-bandwidth connectivity, and a fully managed Ubiquti networking setup.  Tied into this were (3) Birddog P4K ptz cameras to capture and record presenters on stage as well as the audience members.  We also rolled in (4) 82" TVs on rolling stands to display their content throughout the room.  The TVs were fed by (2) ASUS Zenbook Pro laptops. 

For lighting, we provided (2) ETC Lustr S2, (2) ETC 36 Deg. EDLT, and (4) Quasar Science Q30 T8 on stage.  For the stage, we provided (6) 6ft x 4ft decks on 16" legs.  Additionally, we used our green velvet pipe and drape to create the backdrop for the stage.
