9/4/2014: Lord and Taylor Fashion Show

On September fourth 2014, the Moore PA Hire team was invited to provide sound, lighting and drape for Lord and Taylor's Fall Fashion Week show in 2014.  For sound we brought in our L'Acoustics self powered speaker system consisting of 108Ps and SB15Ps as well as a complete DJ Rig.  For lighting we used a combination of conventional lighting and our GLP Volkslicht Moving fixtures all controlled via our Grand MA onPC Command Wing lighting controller.  Please take a moment and have a look at some pictures of this event below.

6/8/2013: Conor Maynard at Tanger Outlets in Deer Park NY

On June eighth, 2013 the Moore PA Hire team was invited to provide sound, staging, and a shade roof for the Tangers Outlet performance of Conor Maynard.  For sound we used our Entertainment metals STGBX54-XP snake system and our L'Acoustics dV-DOSC line array as well as our L'Acoustics 108P, 112P & SB15P. For consoles we supplied (2) Avid SC 48s.  Our shade roof also serves to support the line array system and minimal lighting for a clean look.  Please take a moment and have a look at some pictures of the event below.

11/14/12: Golden Oars Dinner at the New York Athletic Club

On November fourteenth, 2012 the Moore PA Hire team was asked to provide sound, video, and lighting for the US Rowing's anual Golden Oars Dinner where they recognize accomplishments of US rowers from the previous year.  This, being an Olympic/Paralympic year was quite a celebration.   For sound, we brought in (2) separate L'Acoustics systems (one for the wards dinner and one for the  dance floor area/after party) both controlled via our Yamaha LS9 digital console.  For lighting the awards dinner, we used small LEDs to uplight the perimeter of the room and created a stage wash for the podium/presenters.  For the dance area, we used Elation Design Spot moving heads and LEDs to create a "dance club" environment.  All lighting was controlled via our HOG iPC.  For video we brought in (2) 6' x 8' projection screens for the awards dinner and a third 6' x 8' screen for the dance area all with Ultra Short through digital projectors.  We ran all of the projection off of our Dataton Watchout media server and performed a live capture of a slide show being run off of a laptop.  Please take a moment and have a look at some pictures of this wonderful event below.

Sounds of Summer Concert Series: 6/9/12

On 6/9/12, the Moore PA Hire team provided sound, back-line, stage components for the first of several Sounds of Summer concert series at the Tanger Outlets in Deer Park.  Performing at this event was Outasight.  For the stage components, we brought in two crank up stands and truss (up stage and down stage), in order to hang a facade behind the stage and add a roof over the stage.  We brought in our EV Deltamax Sound system (which included floor monitors, sub-woofers, and mid/hi speakers) and hung four mid/hi speakers off of the down stage truss which was used to support the roof.  All sound components were controlled by our Yamaha M7CL digital sound console.  Please enjoy some pictures of the event below.

6/10/12: Forest Hills Festival of the Arts

On 6/10/12, the Moore PA Hire team was asked to provide sound and staging for the Forest Hills Festival of the Arts, which is put on yearly by the Forest Hills Chamber of Commerce.  For staging we built a 24 ft. wide by 16 ft. deep stage that was 40 inches high.  We also built a roof over the stage using crank up stands, box truss and a tarp.  For sound, we brought in our EV Deltamax System (this includes floor monitors, sub woofers and mid/hi range speakers) and hung four EV Deltamax speakers from the box truss being supported by the crank up stands (which we also hung the roof on).  All sound was controlled via our Yamaha M7CL digital sound console.  Please take a moment to look at some pictures of the event below.  

4/24/12: Microsoft Digital Conference at Microsoft's New York Office

On April 24th, the Moore PA Hire team was asked to provide sound, lighting, and video for Microsoft Advertising's, Star Studded Digital Conference.  Star participants included, but were not limited to:  Felicia Day, Dominique Dawes, and Mike Pereira.  We rose to the occasion by creating an immersive environment via our Dataton Watchout Media Server System that included two projection screens with ultra short throw projectors, 5 LCD screens across the back of the stage, and tied into two more in house LCD screens and two more in house projectors with screens as well as pipe and drape.  We also brought in our L-Acoustics 108 P speaker system with L-Acoustics SB15 subwoofers all controlled from our Yamaha LS9.  For Lighting we used our Hog IPC lighting controller to set the mood with our Elation Design Spot 250s and LEDs.  For the stage, we provided Tele-prompting service and three 40" LCD screens to be used as confidence monitors.  Please take a moment and have a look at some pictures and video of the this exciting event below:
