8/21/17 New York Times Stella Artois dining event - Industria Studios - Studio 10


On August 21st Moore P.A. Hire Inc. provided a lighting and rigging package for a dining experience hosted by the New York Times and Stella Artois at Industria Studios' 356 W 12th Studio - Studio 10.
Our lighting design and package consisted of Colorblast TRX for ambient lighting and also to highlight the six dining areas using the designers and brand color scheme. We also provided custom gobos and used ETC Source 4WRD to project these gobos. Control was from our MA command wing and distributed using our City Theatrical Show baby wireless DMX units. 
The rigging package we designed for this event consisted of a truss & pipe systems to support the over 1,000 ribbons throughout which the guests could wander, "Discover" and dine under. 
Our Vectorworks Spotlight design software again proved to be a very valuable production tool helping us to transform our clients' design to provide co-ordinated, accurate information for our crew for a safe and efficient install, and successful event.

8/15/17 Sikhs for Justice - Rally & webcast

On August 15, Moore P.A. Hire provided a production package for a rally on Dag Hammarskjold Plaza consisting of an audio system, staging and also a live mobile webcast for our clients, “Sikhs forJustice” Human rights advocacy group which exposed the 1984 Sikh Genocide. As this was a permitted event, we advised our client on event design and also attended meetings with the relevant authorities.

Our audio package consisted of our Yamaha QL1 with Yamaha RIO1608 and CAT 5 snake controlling our L'acoustics 112P speakers. For staging we provide a 16' x 6' stage which incorporated support for their signage. We also provided stable support for a flag raising ceremony.   

The mobile streaming package we provided used a dedicated cloud based origin server to enable us to broadcast reliable HD Video and the audio captured from our audio system to multiple live targets such as YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Periscope and UStream over one internet connection. For switch & camera package consisted of a Blackmagic Design ATEM Studio 4K Live Switcher, (2) Sony PXWFS5 XDCam Super35 on tripod w/ operators & (1) Sony PXW-X70 compact camcorder for a wide shot. We provided a tech director for switching and a Samsung DM48D for his multi-view display. In order to fully understand the clients' vision, we had a number of pre-production meetings and also to ensure a seamless production we did a stream check in advance of the event day at the location. Our Vidiu pro wireless streaming device successfully streamed the event to the online crowd of upwards of 71K viewers over multiple web sites.

8/1/17 Alamo Draft House Cinema - "Detroit" premiere webcast

On August 8th , 2017, Moore P.A. Hire Inc. was asked by the Alamo Drafthouse cinema to provide audio and lighting for their screening of "Detroit" directed by Kathryn Bigelow. This streamed event consisted of a screening of the movie in multiple Alamo theaters nationwide followed by an in-person interview with Algee Smith to which customers could tweet their questions.
Our audio system consisted of a Yamaha QL1 digital audio console and Yamaha RIO 1608 combined with some of our L'acoustics 108p speakers and our Shure UR4D wireless mics to provide audio to both the live audience present and a separate mix for the online audience. 
The Lighting service provided consisted of Colorblast TRX and Source 4WRD LED fixtures with varying degrees of lenses controlled by an MA command wing, and  City theatrical SHoW Baby 5 for wireless DMX.
Our audio crew worked to ensure a seamless, stress-free stream to the multiple Alamo customers in other markets and also Facebook Live watchers.







8/1/17 - The Crosby Street HotelThe Sinner

On August 1st , 2017 Moore PA Hire Inc. was asked to provide lighting to a step and repeat for the new USA Network series "Sinner" featuring Jessica Biel, Bill Pullman, Christopher Abbott and directed by Antonio Campos for our client, Crosby Street Hotel.
The package consisted of several Source 4 mini with both 50 and 36 degree lenses.
