4/24/2013: James Cameron presents to Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute at a Private Club in NYC

On April twenty fourth 2013, the Moore PA Hire Team was invited to provide video and sound for a presentation given by James Cameron to the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute at a private club in NYC. For video we brought in a 12' x 6'9" Stumpfl Widescreen projection screen and one of our Ultra Short Throw projectors to display the video Mr. Cameron prepped for the show as well as (2) different Powerpoint Presentations all routed through our Video Switcher. For sound we brought in our L'Acoustics 108P powered speaker systems which included our L'Acoustics SB15P sub woofers as well as multiple wireless head-worn mics and wireless hand-held mics, all controlled via our Yamaha LS9 digital mixing console. On the third and fourth of April, 2013 the Moore PA Hire team was asked by Wordless Music to provide sound, video and lighting for Clint Mansell's two night performance at The Church of Saint Paul the Apostle. Here's a nice write up of the show by the New York Times. For sound, we brought in our L'Acoustics dV-DOSC line array with L'Acoustics 112P and L'Acoustics 108P powered speakers for front fill. Front of house audio was controlled by our Yamaha M7CL digital sound console while monitors were controlled by our Yamaha LS9 digital console. For the video aspect, we used our 5,500 lumens digital projector and (2) ultra short throw digital projectors with content threaded across all three screens by way of our Watchout media server. Finally, for lighting we used a combination of conventional lighting and LED lighting as well as Elation Design Spot 250s and Volkslicht GLP moving lights all controlled via our Grand MA Command Wing lighting console.
