The Moore PA Hire returned this year for another fantastic Indie Week at the Intercontinental Hotel in New York City to provide audio, video, and lighting equipment and services across three conference rooms for three consecutive days. Let's jump in!
For audio, we began with (3) Yamaha RIO1608D and (3) Shure ULXD4Q providing each room with 4 channels of digital wireless audio. For speakers, we used (12) L'Acoustic's X8. For microphones, we used (18) Shure MX418C and (6) Shure handheld wireless mics. For mixers, we used (1) Yamaha QL5 and (2) Yamaha DM3-D.
For video, we began with (3) of our premier livestream and recording production racks - our LSE. Each rack consists of (1) vMix Pro server, (1) Blackmagic Design 12x12 Cleanswitch, (1) Netgear M4250 switch for high-bandwidth connectivity, and a fully managed Ubiquti networking setup. Tied into each rack were (2) birddog PTZ cameras to capture and record the event and (6) PTZ cameras overall. For content, we built (3) LED walls, approximately 3.5m x 2m, using (2) Genie ST20s and (1) ground support kit. Each LED wall comprised of (28) VMX P2.6 LED panels controlled by (3) Novastar VX1000s. Each wall was mixed by (1) Roland VR120, with content served by (3) Asus Zenbook Duo Pros. Additionally, we provided (3) TVs, to serve as a large confidence monitors.
For lighting, we provided (3) Apture LS 300x with 26 and 36 lenses on C-Stands. Additionally, for the stage, we provided drape and limit timers.
