9/19/2014 - 9/20/2014: Screening of the Movie There Will Be Blood with a live Orchestral Performance at the United Palace Theatre in NYC by Wordless Music

The Moore PA hire team was invited to provide sound and lighting on September nineteenth and twentieth for two showings of There Will be Blood with a  complete orchestral arrangement performing the movie score live at the United Palace Theatre in NYC.   For sound, we brought in our L'Acoustics dV-DOSC line array and flew the array via motors so that they would provide coverage the entire 3,000 + bi-level capacity and not obscure the projection screen the movie was showing on.  We also brought in our L'Acoustics self powered speaker system consisting of 112Ps a 108Ps for front fill, side fill and monitors.  Front of house audio control was provided by a Digidesign Profile and Yamaha LS9 digital sound consoles.  Monitor control was provided by a Yamaha M7ZL digital sound console.  For Lighting we used a combination of conventional lighting as well as our GLP Volkslicht Moving LED fixtures.  We also provided dimmable clip lights for the orchestra members.  All lighting was controlled via our MA onPC Command Wing lighting controller.
