The Moore P.A. Team returned to the Bowery Hotel this week for Vogue Business' Future of Shopping Summit. We provided audio, video and lighting services. Let's get into it!

This week at Moore P.A. HQ we are testing out our new P 2.6 high refresh rate, studio ready LED Panels from Gloshine. The wall is powered by the Novastar MX40 pro, and serving content using Resolume Arena 7. Here is a look at some tests we have been running using our Sony FR7 cameras with 70-200mm lens, as well as some shots from a Canon R5 with 55mm lens.

We're super excited about this as the combination of this new high refresh rate LED Wall with our FR 7 cameras and the Stage Precision software, takes us further towards the world of Corporate XR. Stay tuned for more!

11.06.24 AAA Conference 2024 at the New York Athletic Club

The Moore P.A. Team returned to the New York Athletic Club for the Appraisers Association of America Conference 2024. We provided audio, video and lighting services across the ninth and tenth floor of the Athletic Club. Let’s take a look!

On the ninth floor, was the main area of the conference, where various panels spoke up on stage to the room. For audio we began with the Yamaha QL5 Mixer with the Yamaha RIO #1 and the L’Acoustics LA-8. We then set up eight L’Acoustics X8 speakers around the room. We provided five Shure MX418C podium pics for the panel onstage.

For video, streaming was handled by vMix on our production rack, the LSE-1. Three Birddog P4K PTZ cameras were discreetly set up around the room to capture the event. They were controlled by the Skaarhoj PTZ Pro V2 and fed back to the LSE-1. The stream was also recorded externally using the Atmos SUMO Monitor.

We also built two VMX p2.6 LED Walls to go either side of the panel to display their content. The LED Walls were powered by Novastar VX1000 controller. The content was served by the ASUS Zenbook Pro Server Kit and Mix by the Roland VR-120, then displayed on the LED walls as well as four of our 70’’ LCD Televisions around the room. Additionally we displayed remote panelists via Zoom on the wall for our in-room audience to see. The zoom was also integrated into the livestream for the online audience to view as well.

For lighting we used two ETC LUSTR S2 LED’s for stage wash. We also had four Quasar Science T8 Tube lights behind the stage for some additional lighting. We provided the necessary pipe and drape as well as the Limitimer and Perfect Cue Mini Kit for the onstage speakers.

On the tenth floor the attendees were split up into three different breakout rooms and in each one we provided audio and video.

For the first room we used the Mackie DL16S digital mixer for audio, and streaming was handled by the Origin Server #3 with vMix. We also used a single Birddog P4K camera. We then set up an ASUS Zenbook Pro to serve content to the 82’’ LCD Television we set up in the room.

In the second breakout room the LSE-2 production rack was used for streaming. In this room we had two Birddog P4K cameras set up for video. The Mackie DL16S was used for audio again and two 82’’ LCD Televisions were used this time.

The third room was set up similarly to the first. This time the Production Bot was used for streaming along with a single Birddog P4K camera. One LCD Television was used to display content. The Mackie DL16S was once again used for audio mixing. L’Acoustics 112P were set up in all three rooms as speakers as well as Shure MX418C podium mics for the panelists.

Overall this entire set up made for a great two day event and ran very smoothly. Take a look below!

11.02.24 NYRR Family Reunion Zone at the New York Marathon

The Moore P.A. Hire team was asked to provide sound for the Family Reunion zone set up on Central Park West, between 62nd and 65th Street directly behind the NYC Marathon Finish Line. The purpose of this zone was to provide a safe and secure area for families to await the imminent arrival of their exhausted family member who had just completed the 26.2 mile endurance test known as the NYC Marathon! Our Audio system was to relay both pertinent information and also some upbeat music to the thousands gathered in this zone which stretched for 4 city blocks.

Our audio system consisted of the following: L'Acoustics dV DOSC line array on Genie ST 20 and also L'Acoustics 112P and 108P self powered speakers flown on a total of (6) crank up stands as delay positions in order to provide full coverage. All audio was controlled via our Yamaha QL1 digital sound console with L'Acoustics dV amps.
