11.25.24 Collegiate Boxing at the New York Athletic Club

 This week, we were in the New York Athletic Club to provide audio and video services for their annual Collegiate Boxing Event. 

For audio, we went with the Mackie DL16S. We had four L’Acoustics 112P Speakers set up around the room. For microphones we used a Shure ULXD4-g50 Handheld mic for the ring announcer. Then we also set up a Sennheiser MKH-416 Shotgun Mic mounted on the mezzanine to capture the sounds of the fights.


For video, capture was handled by the LSE-1. Two Birddog P4K PTZ Cameras were used, controlled by a Skaarhoj Controller. Additionally a Sony PMW-F5, manned by a camera man was used to track the fight. Two 70’’ Televisions were set up on rolling stands, as well as an Optoma 8K Laser projector to display an iMag of the fight.

11.20.24 The M & A Advisor Future of Dealmaking Summit at the New York Athletic Club

We were once again working with the M&A Advisor this month, once again for their annual Future of Dealmaking Summit. We provided audio, video and lighting services. Let’s take a look!

For Audio, we started with the Yamaha QL1 Digital Mixer, along with the L’Acoustics LA4X. For Speakers we had eight L’Acoustics X’8s placed around the room. We had an MX418C Podium mic set up to the side of the stage and then Shure ULXD4Q Handheld mics for the onstage guests. 


For video, the LSE-1 with vMix was used for streaming. Two Sony FR7 PTZ Cameras were used to capture the stage, while a Birddog P4K PTZ Camera was used as an Audience Camera. The Stream was also captured externally using the ATOMOS Sumo monitor.


This event was also the debut of our new High Refresh Rate Gloshine LED Panels. The wall was built behind the stage with Ground Support to be 2.5m High and 6M Wide, 6 rows of 12 Columns. It was powered by the Novastar VX1000 controller and fed by our other production rack, the LSE-2 using Resolume Arena, to display a variety of dynamic graphics provided by the client. We also provided four 70’’ and four 80’’ LCD Televisions on rolling stands to display additional content, served by the ASUS Zenbook Pro server kit and the Roland VR-120.


For lighting we used an Aputure 300x for stage wash and ETC S4 Mini 50s for hair light. We also had Quasar T8 Tube lights behind the stage and ADJ Wireless Uplights placed around the room for some additional lighting.


We also provided the necessary pipe and drape for the event. Take a look at some photos and videos below!

11.18.24 All-Sports Awards at the New York Athletic Club

 Moore P.A. Hire were back in the New York Athletic Club for their Annual All-Sports awards. We provided audio, video and lighting services

For Audio we went with the Yamaha QL1 mixing desk,a s well as the L’Acoustics LA-8 and Yamaha RIO #1. For Speakers we used eight L’Acoustics X8’s. For microphones, we provided two Shure MX418C podium mics. 

For video, capture was handled by our production rack, the LSE-1, via vMix Pro.Five Birddog P4K PTZ cameras, were discreetly placed around the room to capture the stage as well as the audience, and controlled by a Skaarhoj controller. The ATOMOS Sumo Monitor was used for external capture as well. Two Optoma 8K laser projectors were used, along with four 85’’ LCD Televisions to display content and imag. Content was served by the ASUS Zenbook Duo Pro Server Kit and mixed by the Roland VR-120.

For lighting, we provided eight Chauvet Rogue R2 moving lights, as well as fourteen ETC Lustr Series 2 as hair lights. All of these were tied together and controlled from GrandMA2 on PC paired with the MA Command Wing and the MA Fader Wing. Eight Quasar T8 Tube Lights we placed behind the stage for additional lighting. 

We also provided 700ft blue velour pipe and drape to transform the gymnasium into a gala space. Check out some photos from the night below!











11.14.24 - Ireland-U.S. Council Dinner at the Metropolitan Club

 Moore P.A. were at the Metropolitan Club for the Ireland-U.S.Council’s Annual Dinner, where we provided audio, lighting and video services. Let’s get into it.

For video, we captured the footage using a Sony FX6, mounted on a Manfrotto Tripod. The ATOMOS Sumo Monitor was also used for External Capture. Four 85’’ LCD Televisions were set up around the room to display content and were mounted on Rolling Stands. Content was served via the ASUS Zenbook Pro Server Kit and mixed by the Roland VR-120. 


For audio, we went with the Yamaha QL1 digital mixer, as well as the Yamaha RIO #1 and L’Acoustics LA-8. Two L’acoustics 108P and four L’Acoustics X8 were used as speakers. For Microphones we had Shure MX418C podium mics up on stage for both the speakers and musical guests. 


For lights, we had an Aputure LS 300x equipped with a 36 degree Spotlight Lens, as well as four Quasar Science Q30 T8 LED Tube Lights behind the stage. Additionally, we provided the necessary pipe and drape for the event.

11.14.24 VOICES Gala 2024 at the New York Athletic Club

 This week the Moore P.A. Team were in the New York Athletic club, once again with VOICES for their 2024 Gala. We provided audio, lighting and video services. Let’s take a look!

For audio we started with the Yamaha QL-5 mixing console, as well as the Yamaha RIO #1 and L’Acoustics LA4X. Eight L’Acoustics X8’s were also set up around the room for Speakers. For Microphones we used Shure ULXD4Q Handheld mics as well as a Shure MX418C Podium mic.


For video, capture was handled by the LSE-1 using vMix. Three Birddog P4K PTZ Cameras were discreetly placed around the room and fed back to the LSE-1, and controlled by a Skaarhoj controller. We also used the ATOMOS Sumo Monitor for external capture. Content was served by the ASUS Zenbook pro server kit and mixed by the Roland VR-120. 


The content was sent to two VMX p2.6 LED Walls placed on the North East and North West Corners of the room. They were made up of 32 panels each and hung using a truss and the Genie ST20. The LED Walls were powered by the Novastar VX1000 controller.


For lighting we used an Aputure 300x for stage wash and ETC S4 Mini 50s for hair light. We also had Quasar T8 Tube lights behind the stage and ADJ Wireless Uplights placed around the room for some additional lighting. 


We also provided the necessary pipe and drape as well as our acrylic podium for the stage. Check out some photos below!

11.13.24 Vogue Business Future of Shopping Summit at the Bowery Hotel

 The Moore P.A. Team returned to the Bowery Hotel this week for Vogue Business' Future of Shopping Summit. We provided audio, video and lighting services. Let's get into it!

For audio we used the Yamaha DM3-D digital mixer. We provided twelve channels of wireless mics with our Shure ULXD4Q. We also provided three DPA 4288 headworn mics. The audio was sent out over the in-house audio system, but also recorded by us using a Zoom H4n portable recorder, as per the client’s request. 

For video, we served content using a Asus Zenbook Pro server kit. This was mixed by the Roland VR-120 and sent to the in House LCD Televisions. For lighting we used two Aputure LS 300x to provide stage wash. Additionally we provided the Limitimer and Perfect Cue Mini kit for the onstage speakers.

11.08.24 Sony FR 7 & P2.6 High Refresh Rate Test

This week at Moore P.A. HQ we are testing out our new P 2.6 high refresh rate, studio ready LED Panels from Gloshine. The wall is powered by the Novastar MX40 pro, and serving content using Resolume Arena 7. Here is a look at some tests we have been running using our Sony FR7 cameras with 70-200mm lens, as well as some shots from a Canon R5 with 55mm lens.

We're super excited about this as the combination of this new high refresh rate LED Wall with our FR 7 cameras and the Stage Precision software, takes us further towards the world of Corporate XR. Stay tuned for more!
