10.09.25 - NYAC Cardroom - BattleFin Discovery Day

  

     The team loaded into the New York Athletic Club for another one, this time the main focus being the 9th floor cardroom. We provided audio and in-room visual display for the client, centering on a 6Mx2.5M P 2.6 LED Wall as backdrop, and display for presentations.

     The audio needs for the setup were fairly simple, as we brought in (1) QL-1 Mixer and paired it with our L'Acoustics setup, (4) X8 Speakers set for the cardroom, and an additional two for the exhibits happening in the Lounge, Powered by (1) LA-8 amp, a part of the LA rack, also housing a Shure ULX4Q 4ch wireless unit. This allowed for (1) Shure MX418C Wireless Podium Mic and (3) ULXD2 Handheld Mics for the panels. 

    For the video needs we setup the LED Wall behind the stage, switching between full screen headshot/info slides, and a layered picture in picture display for PowerPoints. This was all done with (1) Novastar MX30 processor and (4) Dell Latitude Laptops, allowing for seamless transition between presenters. Additionally we used (1) Perfect Cue Mini for advancing slides, (1) 43" Confidence monitor, and (1) Limit Timer to keep the day on schedule. Check out some photos from the event below!

10.06.25 - Yale Club Lounge - Gerando Falcoes

     For this one the Moore PA Hire team came together to do a large production in the 2nd Floor Lounge of the Yale Club, featuring LED Walls, Presidential teleprompters, lighting gobos, and real time translation provided in-room.

    To kick us off with audio, we set up (6) X8 Speakers around the room, powered by our custom built LA-4 Rack, a unit hosting (1) LA4X amp, a four channel ULXD4Q wireless transmitter, a network switch, and a Yamaha RIO 1608 stage box. This was all controlled with (1) Yamaha QL-1 Mixer, sending an extra output to translation software, enabling Portuguese to English translation in real time. We also setup DJ Equipment for the party after the program finished. 

    To cover the video needs we built (2) 3M wide by 2M high P 2.6 LED Walls, framing the center of the stage with pewter drape between them and behind the podium speaker. These were sent content via our Novastar MX30 Rack, a Roland VR-120, and (4) Laptops, each with a dedicated purpose. In addition, we setup a lighting truss at the back of the room to hold (2) Aputure 300d spotlights for stage wash, (1) Lustr light to display a Gobo above the screens, and LED uplights around the room for extra ambiance. Lastly we added (2) ETC Source 4 Mini lights on the video wall truss, providing extra hair light. For this one we also hired a teleprompter operator to setup and control the presidential style teleprompt throughout the program. 

    For staging we brought in (6) Stage decks with 2' legs to nestle up against the screens and hide the legs of the Genie ST-20 stands, complete with skirt and an acrylic podium, this brought the room together in a way that felt professional and clean. 10.02.25 - NYAC - President's Room - Catholic Faith Investors

       The Moore PA team once again loaded into the New York Athletic Club to provide AV and recording services for Catholic Faith Investors, this once was a little different from most other events we do at the club, as for this we prioritized the recording and post production over the audience, filming back to back fireside chats and interviews, to be distributed as high quality content for the client. 

    To address in-room video needs we setup (2) 85" TV screens in the corners of the room, (1) Roland VR-120, a and (2) Dell Latitude laptops to serve powerpoints, but this was of less importance as the focus for this event was the recording, to capture it we used (3) Sony FR-7 Cinema PTZ cameras and recorded a multicord of the three shots for post-production editing. We also used (1) Atmos Sumo Studio Recorder to capture a line cut recording for backup. Additionally we used (2) Aputure 600x lights as a stage wash and (2) Source 4 Minis for hair light. To set the scene we brought in several panels of blue drape and LED uplights, creating a wide backdrop for the camera shots.

    For the audio we used (4) DPA mics and (1) Shure ULXD4Q wireless receiver to record all the panelists, recording into a multitrack for more editing capability. In addition we had (40 L'Acoustic X8 Speakers set on the floor as a quieter front fill for the small in-room audience.

10.01.25 - NYAC - Presidents Room - Barretstown Breakfast

    Moore PA rolled into a familiar space, the New York Athletic Club, providing audio/visual services for Barretstown Foundation USA in the Presidents Room, We provided PA for the room, in room TV display, and a multi-cam line cut recorded, lets get started!

    For audio needs we set up (6) L'Acoustics X8 Speakers around the room, all powered by (1) LA4X Amp. For input we used (4) Wireless Shure Handheld mics, received by (1) Shure ULXD4Q Wireless unit. For control we setup (1) Yamaha QL-1 Mixer, also routing audio out for recording.

    For video needs we started with the basic TV setup bringing (4) 70" LCD Displays for in room presentations, content fed through (1) Roland VR-120 via (2) Dell Latitude laptops. For the recording we brought (3) Sony FR-7 PTZ cameras, two in the back and one audience cam, and captured the line cut with vMix Pro. For enhanced recording quality we brought in (1) Atomos SUMO Recorder, taking the cuts from LSE-3, our dedicated cam recording setup. For the best quality possible we also brought in a basic pipe and drape as a backdrop, (2) Aputure 300d Spotlights for stage wash, and (2) Source 4 Minis for hair light. 09.23.25 - Yale Ballroom - Asia Initiatives/SCI Gala

     Moore PA Hire once again set up shop in the Yale Club Ballroom, this time providing AV Services for a slew of clients during UNGA week, as this room had more of the larger events our set up matched in scale. Featuring LED walls, multi-cam recording, and a state of the art in-house PA system, this package was a hit.

    Starting with audio, we used our built in, all L'Acoustics audio system, featuring (4) X8 Speakers built-in, (2) 108P Speakers for front fills, powered by an L'Acoustics LA-8 amp. For the presenters we used (1) Shure MX418D Wireless Podium Mic, and (4) (4) Shure ULXD1 - Belt-pack w/ WL185 Lav mics for the fireside chats, all this was received by the installed Shure ULXD4Q Wireless receiver. 

    To cover video needs, the main attraction was the (2) P 2.6 LED Walls, each 3.5M wide X 2M tall, each supported by a Genie ST-20 crank up tower, and framed with pewter drape.. We used (1) Novastar MX30 Processor to send content via fiber optic cable and (1) CVT-10 fiber converter. In addition to the walls, we also had a 43" confidence monitor. All this was given content and iMag video from Dell Latitude laptops, (1) Roland VR-120 and our LSE-3 rack. For the recording we had (3) Sony FR-7 PTZ Cameras, two of which were equipped with 70-200 zoom lenses, allowing for tight shots of the presenters from the back of the room. These paired with (2) Aputure 300d spotlights, and (2) Source 4 Mini hair lights made for high end recording quality. Check out some pics from the event!

09.09.25 - Marriott Downtown - Voices Symposium

   The Moore PA Hire team went to the downtown New York Marriott for the Voices Symposium 2025, where we provided our full AV and capture package for the annual event hosted by VOICES Center for Resilience, let's dive in! 

   Starting with audio, in the ballroom we used (8) X8 speakers set around the room for a clear balanced sound, and powered them with (1) L'Acoustics LA-4X - 4 ch. 4 zone amp, housed in the LA-4 Rack. which also has (1) Yamaha RIO 1608 D, and (2) Shure ULXD4Q - Quad wireless receivers for handheld mics. In regards to the presenters, we used (6) Shure MX418C -18" Cardioid Gooseneck Microphones, divided between the podium and fireside chats. In the adjacent ballroom we setup (4) CP8 speakers, (1) Podium Mic,(2) handheld mics, and (1) Mackie DL16S Mixer, providing PA for the breakout part of the symposium. 

   Moving on to video, the feature attraction was a 9.5M x 2.5M Gloshine LED Wall, set behind the stage, covering the entire back wall of the venue. For processing we used (1) Novastar MX-40 Pro, and (1) CTV10-S Fiber Converter. In addition we also setup (1) Confidence monitor mirroring the main display for the presenters. In regards to content we setup our Origin Server alongside (3) Dell Latitude laptops, and (1) Roland VR-120 Video Switcher. This particular event required layering muliple presentations and assets together on one screen so the combination of the VR-120 and Origin server running Resolume Arena was essential to accomplishing that. 

   In addition to the in-room display we also provided a recording/livestream for the client, using (3) Sony FR-7 Cameras around the room, all sending signal to LSE-2, our all-in-one solution for camera/line cut control. We used vMix Pro to gather assets and feeds, compiling it all into a single recording that can easily be saved and transported to the client. To ensure we had the best quality recording we also set-up (2) Aputure 300x spotlights for stage wash. Check out some photos from the symposium below!

09.04.25 - Castell Rooftop - Dior - LED Screen

For this one the Moore PA team rolled up to the AC Hotel in Midtown to set up a 2.5m x 2.5m LED wall, adding an extra element of immersion to the event. We used high refresh rate Gloshine LED panels and built it from the ground up; supported with rig bars, truss, and plenty of sandbags. We used our MX Rack for processing, an all-in-one unit that houses (1) Novastar MX-40 processor, (1) MX-30, (4) CTV10 Fiber Converters, and (1) Asus laptop. Content was fed to the wall using (1) Razer Blade laptop with Resolume Arena installed, allowing for dynamic layering and content configuration. Check out some photos from the event below!

08.06.25 - Yale Tap Room - Wedding Anniversary

The Moore PA Team once again set up shop in the Yale Club Tap Room, providing audio and video services for a wedding anniversary, an evening of memorable slideshows, speeches, and music.

To cover the audio needs, we wheeled in our LA-8 amp rack, an all-in-one solution providing stereo playback to (4) X8 speakers set up around the room, as well as (4) channels of wireless mic feeds, supported by a Shure ULXD4Q Quad Wireless Receiver. We provided background music and presented slides with embedded audio for the event. Lastly we used a Yamaha DM-3 audio mixer for mis and playback leveling.

On the video side our main workhorse for this type of event is (1) Panasonic 8K Laser projector, displaying on a 6'x8'projection screen kit. Content was downloaded and fed from (2) Dell Latitude laptops into (1) Roland VR-120 video switcher, this subsequently was sent to the projector for room display.

07.24.25 - Yale Tap Room - Lecture

The Moore PA team loaded gear into the Yale Club's Tap Room for a lecture presented by the club, we provided audio and visual services for the client, ensuring smooth transitions and clear audio for the event.

For the audio needs we used our LA-8 Rack, providing a two channel amp, (4) channels of wireless audio with a Shure ULXD4Q receiver, and (4) Shure ULXD1 Beltpack mics for the presenters. We also used (4) White X8 speakers for ample room coverage, all feeding into a Yamaha DM3-D audio mixer, ensuring clear signal, and safe volume levels.

To provide the client with their video needs we brought in a Panasonic PT-MZ880 projector, displaying onto a 6'x10' projection screen. Content was fed to a Roland VR-120 video switcher via (2) Dell Latitude laptops. In addition to the display, we also setup a Perfect Cue Mimi for the presenter to advance slides with ease.

06.25.25 - Private Event - Club Knick - LED screen

The Moore PA team loaded into a private club in the upper east side to provide an LED wall rental for a western themed party. We used (50) VMX 2.6 LED panels with a truss ground support system and sandbags to safely keep it in place; additionally, we used an angle during setup so the panels would slightly curve around the corner, hiding the fireplace. For content our team put together a 30 minute loop with scenes from various classic western films, giving that extra touch of immersion for the event. We used (1) Dell Latitude laptop running vMix Pro to loop the video, sent that to a Roland VR-120 video switcher, and then to (1) Novastar VX1000 processor before being displayed on the wall.
