09.23.25 - Yale Ballroom - Asia Initiatives/SCI Gala

Moore PA Hire once again set up shop in the Yale Club Ballroom, this time providing AV Services for a slew of clients during UNGA week, as this room had more of the larger events our set up matched in scale. Featuring LED walls, multi-cam recording, and a state of the art in-house PA system, this package was a hit.

Starting with audio, we used our built in, all L'Acoustics audio system, featuring (4) X8 Speakers built-in, (2) 108P Speakers for front fills, powered by an L'Acoustics LA-8 amp. For the presenters we used (1) Shure MX418D Wireless Podium Mic, and (4) (4) Shure ULXD1 - Belt-pack w/ WL185 Lav mics for the fireside chats, all this was received by the installed Shure ULXD4Q Wireless receiver.

To cover video needs, the main attraction was the (2) P 2.6 LED Walls, each 3.5M wide X 2M tall, each supported by a Genie ST-20 crank up tower, and framed with pewter drape.. We used (1) Novastar MX30 Processor to send content via fiber optic cable and (1) CVT-10 fiber converter. In addition to the walls, we also had a 43" confidence monitor. All this was given content and iMag video from Dell Latitude laptops, (1) Roland VR-120 and our LSE-3 rack. For the recording we had (3) Sony FR-7 PTZ Cameras, two of which were equipped with 70-200 zoom lenses, allowing for tight shots of the presenters from the back of the room. These paired with (2) Aputure 300d spotlights, and (2) Source 4 Mini hair lights made for high end recording quality. Check out some pics from the event!

09.09.25 - Marriott Downtown - Voices Symposium

The Moore PA Hire team went to the downtown New York Marriott for the Voices Symposium 2025, where we provided our full AV and capture package for the annual event hosted by VOICES Center for Resilience, let's dive in!

Starting with audio, in the ballroom we used (8) X8 speakers set around the room for a clear balanced sound, and powered them with (1) L'Acoustics LA-4X - 4 ch. 4 zone amp, housed in the LA-4 Rack. which also has (1) Yamaha RIO 1608 D, and (2) Shure ULXD4Q - Quad wireless receivers for handheld mics. In regards to the presenters, we used (6) Shure MX418C -18" Cardioid Gooseneck Microphones, divided between the podium and fireside chats. In the adjacent ballroom we setup (4) CP8 speakers, (1) Podium Mic,(2) handheld mics, and (1) Mackie DL16S Mixer, providing PA for the breakout part of the symposium.

Moving on to video, the feature attraction was a 9.5M x 2.5M Gloshine LED Wall, set behind the stage, covering the entire back wall of the venue. For processing we used (1) Novastar MX-40 Pro, and (1) CTV10-S Fiber Converter. In addition we also setup (1) Confidence monitor mirroring the main display for the presenters. In regards to content we setup our Origin Server alongside (3) Dell Latitude laptops, and (1) Roland VR-120 Video Switcher. This particular event required layering muliple presentations and assets together on one screen so the combination of the VR-120 and Origin server running Resolume Arena was essential to accomplishing that.

In addition to the in-room display we also provided a recording/livestream for the client, using (3) Sony FR-7 Cameras around the room, all sending signal to LSE-2, our all-in-one solution for camera/line cut control. We used vMix Pro to gather assets and feeds, compiling it all into a single recording that can easily be saved and transported to the client. To ensure we had the best quality recording we also set-up (2) Aputure 300x spotlights for stage wash. Check out some photos from the symposium below!

For this one the Moore PA team rolled up to the AC Hotel in Midtown to set up a 2.5m x 2.5m LED wall, adding an extra element of immersion to the event. We used high refresh rate Gloshine LED panels and built it from the ground up; supported with rig bars, truss, and plenty of sandbags. We used our MX Rack for processing, an all-in-one unit that houses (1) Novastar MX-40 processor, (1) MX-30, (4) CTV10 Fiber Converters, and (1) Asus laptop. Content was fed to the wall using (1) Razer Blade laptop with Resolume Arena installed, allowing for dynamic layering and content configuration. Check out some photos from the event below!
