10.09.25 - NYAC Cardroom - BattleFin Discovery Day

The team loaded into the New York Athletic Club for another one, this time the main focus being the 9th floor cardroom. We provided audio and in-room visual display for the client, centering on a 6Mx2.5M P 2.6 LED Wall as backdrop, and display for presentations.

The audio needs for the setup were fairly simple, as we brought in (1) QL-1 Mixer and paired it with our L'Acoustics setup, (4) X8 Speakers set for the cardroom, and an additional two for the exhibits happening in the Lounge, Powered by (1) LA-8 amp, a part of the LA rack, also housing a Shure ULX4Q 4ch wireless unit. This allowed for (1) Shure MX418C Wireless Podium Mic and (3) ULXD2 Handheld Mics for the panels.

For the video needs we setup the LED Wall behind the stage, switching between full screen headshot/info slides, and a layered picture in picture display for PowerPoints. This was all done with (1) Novastar MX30 processor and (4) Dell Latitude Laptops, allowing for seamless transition between presenters. Additionally we used (1) Perfect Cue Mini for advancing slides, (1) 43" Confidence monitor, and (1) Limit Timer to keep the day on schedule. Check out some photos from the event below!

10.06.25 - Yale Club Lounge - Gerando Falcoes

For this one the Moore PA Hire team came together to do a large production in the 2nd Floor Lounge of the Yale Club, featuring LED Walls, Presidential teleprompters, lighting gobos, and real time translation provided in-room.

To kick us off with audio, we set up (6) X8 Speakers around the room, powered by our custom built LA-4 Rack, a unit hosting (1) LA4X amp, a four channel ULXD4Q wireless transmitter, a network switch, and a Yamaha RIO 1608 stage box. This was all controlled with (1) Yamaha QL-1 Mixer, sending an extra output to translation software, enabling Portuguese to English translation in real time. We also setup DJ Equipment for the party after the program finished.

To cover the video needs we built (2) 3M wide by 2M high P 2.6 LED Walls, framing the center of the stage with pewter drape between them and behind the podium speaker. These were sent content via our Novastar MX30 Rack, a Roland VR-120, and (4) Laptops, each with a dedicated purpose. In addition, we setup a lighting truss at the back of the room to hold (2) Aputure 300d spotlights for stage wash, (1) Lustr light to display a Gobo above the screens, and LED uplights around the room for extra ambiance. Lastly we added (2) ETC Source 4 Mini lights on the video wall truss, providing extra hair light. For this one we also hired a teleprompter operator to setup and control the presidential style teleprompt throughout the program.

For staging we brought in (6) Stage decks with 2' legs to nestle up against the screens and hide the legs of the Genie ST-20 stands, complete with skirt and an acrylic podium, this brought the room together in a way that felt professional and clean. 10.02.25 - NYAC - President's Room - Catholic Faith Investors

The Moore PA team once again loaded into the New York Athletic Club to provide AV and recording services for Catholic Faith Investors, this once was a little different from most other events we do at the club, as for this we prioritized the recording and post production over the audience, filming back to back fireside chats and interviews, to be distributed as high quality content for the client.

To address in-room video needs we setup (2) 85" TV screens in the corners of the room, (1) Roland VR-120, a and (2) Dell Latitude laptops to serve powerpoints, but this was of less importance as the focus for this event was the recording, to capture it we used (3) Sony FR-7 Cinema PTZ cameras and recorded a multicord of the three shots for post-production editing. We also used (1) Atmos Sumo Studio Recorder to capture a line cut recording for backup. Additionally we used (2) Aputure 600x lights as a stage wash and (2) Source 4 Minis for hair light. To set the scene we brought in several panels of blue drape and LED uplights, creating a wide backdrop for the camera shots.

For the audio we used (4) DPA mics and (1) Shure ULXD4Q wireless receiver to record all the panelists, recording into a multitrack for more editing capability. In addition we had (40 L'Acoustic X8 Speakers set on the floor as a quieter front fill for the small in-room audience.
