05.16.22 - NY Live Arts at Chelsea Factory

Moore PA Hire pulled up outside Chelsea Factory in Manhattan to provide video, livestreaming and multi-cam recording equipment and services for the annual NY Live Arts Gala featuring Black Thought honoring Bill T. Jones. The event consisted of music by Natasha Diggs, a live auction, and chiefly performances by Black Thought and choreography by Bill T. Jones.

For video, we began with (4) Birddog P4K and (1) Sony F5. The camera feeds were fed into our premier livestream production rack - the LSE-1. The rack consists of (1) vMix Pro server, (1) Blackmagic Design 12x12 Cleanswitch, (1) Netgear M4250 switch for high-bandwidth connectivity, and a fully managed Ubiquti networking setup.

Fed by the LSE-1 we provided (4) 70 inch IMAG monitors, as well as (2) 12ft c 6ft LED walls for client-provided videos and slides. The LED walls controlled by (2) Novastar VX4S.

The  program and individual camera feeds were recorded internally and the livestream was beamed out to the client's website, via Moore PA's proprietary content deliver network.

For audio we interfaced with the house's all L'Acoustics audio system. Additinally we provided (1) Pioneer DJM-900 NXS2 and (2) Pioneer PLX-1000 Professional Turntables. The DJ was positioned atop a 8ft x 6ft stage on rolling wheels so that Natasha Diggs could be wheeled from one area to the next as the event progressed without having to turn off the music!
