06.21.22 - Web3/NFT event with Groundswell Experiential and Authentic Artists

Moore PA Hire pulled up outside The Main in Manhattan to provide video, audio, lighting, staging, and live graphics distribution equipment and services for a Web3/NFT event with Groundswell Experiential and Authentic Artists. The program was fairly straightforward; Authentic Artists had created a series of AIs that composed music, and we were going to produce a battle of the bands style concert for them.

For video, we began with (1) Optoma ZU850 laser projector, (4) 70inch displays, (1) 82inch display, and (1) 12ft x 6ft P3.9 LED video wall. These were all fed by (1) Blackmagic Design 12x12 Cleanswitch which in turn was pulling content from our own vMix Pro server as well as four outputs from Resolume running on a separate server in our control area. The content from Resolume was mixed live as the battle progressed, while the vMix Pro server was pulling down (2) RTMP streams direct from the AI and sending them off to the various screens. The last step was to provide (2) Birddog P4K for use as iMAG as well as record the event for future promotional use by the client. The program consisted of a battle of the bands style tournament where the audience in attendance were able to vote live on which artist they wanted to see progress to the finale.

In addition to the entertainment coming from the cloud, there were live visual artists painting, working as mascots for the various AIs. For these more tangible artists we provided (1) 16ft x 6ft stage each, and (4) Source 4 mini fixtures each, hung from the ceiling, to light their canvases.

Speaking of lighting, we provided a pile of colorblasts and Source 4 Minis throughout the space, all hung from the ceiling, to color the venue and highlight important areas.

For audio, we provided (8) L'Acoustics 112p, (2) L'Acoustics 108P, and (2) L'Acoustics SB218s. All of these were controlled by (1) Yamaha QL-1 and (1) Yamaha Rio 1608D. For inputs, we provided (2) Shure ULXD4Q handheld microphones, as well as (2) Pioneer CDJ-2000s and (1) Pioneer DJM Nexus 900. Finally, we took in and distributed (4) channels of audio from the various AIs and Resolume outputs.

Lastly, given Groundswell Experiential needed to live up to their name, we provided video and audio equipment for an interactive experience at the entrance to the venue. Pulling video and audio from the client-provided iPad app that allowed the user to mint their own NFT live, we provided (1) Roland VR50HD, (1) 70 inch display, and (1) L'Acoustics 108p. As the user played on the iPad, the resulting video and audio was sent back to them until they were happy with their composition and decided hit mint.
