09.07.23 - FDNY Foundation Fundraiser

Moore PA Hire provided audio, video, and lighting equipment and services for the FDNY Foundation Fundraiser at the FDNY Training Academy. Let's dive into it!

For audio, we began wtih (1) Yamaha QL-5 and (1) Yamaha Rio 1680D.  For speakers, we rolled in (10) L'Acoustics 112P and (6) L'Acoustcs 108P.

For video, we provided (2) 10ft x 7ft LED walls, each consisting of (24) VMX P2.6 LED panels controlled by (2) Novastar VX1000s.  These were flown from (2) Genie ST-25 crank up stands.  We also built (1) 7ft x 3ft LED wall using (4) P3.9 panels controlled by (1) Novastar VX4S.  Additionally, we rolled in (2) 85" TVs, (4) 82" TVs, (2) 70" TVs, and (2) 65" TVs.  All LED walls and TVs were tied into (4) PTZ Birddog Cameras.  For content serving, we brought in our premier livestream and recording production rack - the LSE-1.  The rack consists of (1) vMix Pro server, (1) Blackmagic Design 12x12 Cleanswitch, (1) Netgear M4250 switch for high-bandwith connectivity, and a fully managed Ubiquiti network setup.  With LSE-1, we were able to feed the FDNY's mobile LED truck and display their drone feed to all screens.  As requested by the FDNY, they wanted to create the illusion of flames burning in the windows of one of their training facilities through (3) LCD Displays which was not a problem with the use of LSE-2.  Built into this rack is (1) Resolume Arena server, (1) Ubiquiti 150W PoE switch for scalable connectivity, and a fully managed Ubiquiti networking setup power by the Uniquiti Dream Machine Pro.  Loaded with the full Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, as well as Da Vinci Resolve and Shutter Encoder, allows us to ingest, create, and edit high quality video content ahead of time and during the event before feeding independent streams to multiple destinations.

For lighting, we provided (10) Luster Series-2, (42) Colorblast TRX, (4) Colorblast PSU, (8) Rogue R2, and (24) Wireless LED uplights.  In addition, we provided (2) Haze DMX machines to create  smoke coming out of the "burning" training facility.
