10.30.24 Fund.AI Conference at the Bowery Hotel

Moore P.A. Hire were back in the Bowery Hotel this week for the Fund.AI Conference, hosted by Fast Forward. We provided audio, video and lighting equipment and services. Let's jump into it!

For audio we began with the Yamaha DM3-D digital mixer. For speakers we used four QSC CP8 two-way loudspeakers. We provided Shure ULXD4Q-G50 and ULXD4D-G50 Wireless Microphones. 


For Video we provided two 82’’, two 80’’ and one 75’’ LCD Televisions. The content was served from the ASUS Zenbook Pro Server Kit and mixed by the Roland VR-120.


Two ETC Lustr S2 LED’s were used to provide stage wash. Additionally we provided the necessary pipe and drape as well as the Limitimer and Perfect Cue Mini Kit for the onstage speakers.

10.29.24 Turning Rock Partners AGM at the New York Athletic Club

The Moore P.A. Team returned to the New York Athletic Club to provide audio, video and lighting services for the Turning Rock Partners AGM 2024

For Audio we began with the Yamaha QL-1 mixing board, the Yamaha RIO #1 and L’Acoustics LA4X. For speakers we used L’Acoustics X8s. For microphones we used the Shure ULXD4, providing us with 4 channels of digital audio.


For video we began with our production rack the LSE-1. Tied into this were three Birddog P4K PTZ Cameras, discreetly placed around the room and controlled by our Skaarhoj PTZ Pro V2. The Content was shown on our 85’’ LCD Televisions which were set up on rolling stands around the venue. The content was mix by the Roland VR-120, served by the ASUS Zenbook Pro Server Kit.


For lighting, we used the Aputure 300x for stage wash. We also provided a limitimer onstage as well as the necessary pipe and drape. Take a look at some photos below!

10.22.24 YA Arts for Learning Gala at the Bowery Hotel

 The Moore P.A. Team were back at the Bowery Hotel this week for the YA Arts for Learning Gala 2024. Let’s get into it!

For recording we used vMix on the Production Bot, with three Birddog P4K PTZ Cameras. This feed was then externally captured with the Atomos Sumo Monitor. For display used two of 85’’ LCD Televisions as well as three additional television’s provided by the venue to show content. This was fed from the Roland VR120 AV switcher, served by the ASUS Zenbook Pro Server kit.


For audio, we used the Yamaha QL1 mixer, with the Yamaha RIO #1 as well. We also had Shure ULXD4Q-G50 Wireless mics and Shure MX418C podium mics. Additionally we provided a Mic and D.I. Kit and Bass and Keyboard amps for the band as per request.


We used four ETC LUSTR S2 equipped with Custom Gobos depicting the Client’s artwork around the room. We also used two ETC S4 Mini 50’s and two Aputure LS 300x, fitted with a 36 degree spotlight lens to provide stage wash and hair light. As well as that we used ADJ WiFLY Par QA5 DMX LED Uplights to provide additional lighting around the room. 


For the stage we provided our acrylic podium, as well as to director’s chairs for the Fireside chat between Trevor Noah and Jacqueline Woodson. It was a wonderful evening, check out some photos below!

10.19.24 Subtitled by Christian Marclay at the Paula Cooper Gallery

This Month we had 18 sq. M of our 40 sq. M VMX p2.6 LED Display at the Paula Cooper Gallery, for an Installation by Christian Marclay’s Subtitled installation. Subtitled is a cinematic collage which combines the bottom frames of 22 different films.


The VMX p2.6 LED 40 Sq. m system we provided was made up of 72 Panels 6M H x 3M, which when combined with the building structure allowed the installation to stand out and give it a free-standing look, per the artist’s request! Processing & content serving compliments of 1 of our Novastar VX1000 & Resolume Arena 7.


This "Subtitled" installation ran in the Paula Cooper Gallery from 12th September right up until 19th October. It was an amazing installation, check out some photos and videos below!

10.13.24 Jackie Windsor Memorial at the Paula Cooper Gallery

 Moore P.A. Hire were over in the Paula Cooper gallery to provide audio and video services for the Jackie Windsor Memorial service that was hosted there. Let's take a look!

For audio we used the Yamaha DM3-D, along with the Yamaha RIO#2. Shure ULXD8 G50 Podium mics were set up, along with wireless Shure ULXD4Q-G50 on hand if needed. Four L’Acoustics X8 were placed around the room for speakers. 

For the capture of the event, we used two Sony FR7 Cameras. These were fed into vMix on the Production Bot, which we used to record the event. Additionally we used our LED Wall which was already set up at the Paula Cooper Gallery as part of Christian Marclay’s Subtitled Installation. This was used to display pictures of Jackie and her family. The VMX p2.6 LED 40 Sq. m system we provided was made up of 72 Panels 6M H x 3M. This hung from the building structure to appear free-standing. Processing & content serving was done by one of our Novastar VX1000 & Resolume Arena 7.

10.10.24 Arm & Hammer Rocket Day at PS019Q

This week, we teamed up with Arm & Hammer to put on a show for National Baking Soda Rocket Day! We headed over to P.S. 019 Q Mario Jeantet Middle School in Queens where The Space Gal, Emily Callandrelli was speaking to the students for Rocket Day. Let's take a look!

Our VMX P2.6 LED Display was built onstage behind Emily. It stood at 3.5M W by 2M H and was made up of 28 panels. This displayed Emily’s content and was processed by Novastar VX1000 LED Display Controller. The content was fed to the display using the Roland VR-120 which was served content by our ASUS Zenbook Pro Kit.


The LSE 1 was used to stream and record the event. Three Birddog P4K PTZ Cameras were set up in the Auditorium, and sent back to the LSE-1 via SDI. The show was then streamed through vMix and sent out to the other classrooms in the school on a private livestream for all the other students to see the show! 


For Audio we used the Yamaha DM3-D audio mixer, as well as the L’Acoustics LA-8 and Yamaha RIO #1. Four L’Acoustics X8 speakers were placed around the venue as well. Emily was mic'd up using the DPA 4288-DC-F-F10-LH CORE Directional Headset mic. We also had some Shure ULXD4Q-G50 mics on hand if needed.


It was a great show and made for a great experience for the students! Take a look below!

10.09.24 The Post Summit

The Moore PA Team were up in The Post Clubhouse for day 3 of The Post’s annual Member Summit, where we provided audio, video, lighting and staging services.

We set up our stage at the top of the room, with four Shure MX418C podium mics on stage next to our directors chairs for the panelists. We used the Yamaha DM3-D Audio Mixer, along with the L’Acoustics LA-8 and Yamaha RIO 1608D. Four L’Acoustics X8 speakers were also set up around the room. Additionally, we had four handheld Shure ULXD4Q-G50 mics ready to go if needed.


The VR-120 was used to feed content to the four 85’’ LCD televisions which were set up on rolling stands around the room. The Asus Zenbook Pro Kit was used to serve the content. Streaming was handled by the LSE-1 Production rack, using vMix. We used three Birddog P4K PTZ Cameras for the stream. Two facing the stage and one showing the audience as well, all controlled by the Skaarhoj controller. 


For lighting we used two Aputure LS 300x with a spotlight 36 degree lens. We also had four Quasar Science T8 tube lights placed behind the stage for additional uplighting. Additionally we had a Limit Timer and Ikan Atlas monitors set up onstage.
