This week, we teamed up with Arm & Hammer to put on a show for National Baking Soda Rocket Day! We headed over to P.S. 019 Q Mario Jeantet Middle School in Queens where The Space Gal, Emily Callandrelli was speaking to the students for Rocket Day. Let's take a look!
Our VMX P2.6 LED Display was built onstage behind Emily. It stood at 3.5M W by 2M H and was made up of 28 panels. This displayed Emily’s content and was processed by Novastar VX1000 LED Display Controller. The content was fed to the display using the Roland VR-120 which was served content by our ASUS Zenbook Pro Kit.
The LSE 1 was used to stream and record the event. Three Birddog P4K PTZ Cameras were set up in the Auditorium, and sent back to the LSE-1 via SDI. The show was then streamed through vMix and sent out to the other classrooms in the school on a private livestream for all the other students to see the show!
For Audio we used the Yamaha DM3-D audio mixer, as well as the L’Acoustics LA-8 and Yamaha RIO #1. Four L’Acoustics X8 speakers were placed around the venue as well. Emily was mic'd up using the DPA 4288-DC-F-F10-LH CORE Directional Headset mic. We also had some Shure ULXD4Q-G50 mics on hand if needed.
It was a great show and made for a great experience for the students! Take a look below!
