On October 1, 2016, Moore P.A. Hire provided audio assistance to the FDNY at the Church of the Annunciation in Yonkers, NY for the funeral of the fallen hero, Michael Fahy who was slain in the Bronx while on duty.
For audio, we used our Yamaha QL1 digital audio console paired with our Yamaha RIO1608 digital stage box. The Audio signal provided by the Mayor's office allowed us to provide audio coverage of this sad event over 1/2 mile to the over 15,000 firemen attending their hero-brother’s funeral. Our two Genie ST 20s with the capacity to crank-up to 750lb capacity 20' towers with our twelve dV Dosc speakers to allow the firefighters and other attendees to hear the proceedings with clarity. Eight of our L'Acoustic 112P and four L'Acoustic108P speakers provided sound for this tree-lined avenue for the fireman's last call. Our two Event ALP-5 and two L-16 crank up lifts provided lifting support. For ease of sight for the firefighters and the capacity crowd outside the church, we received video assistance in the form of a parked truck with a dual 13' x 8' 7mm resolution LED screen at approx.18'.
