On October 10, 2016, Moore P.A. Hire provided lighting and audio support for Le Poisson Rouge (LPR Presents) the historic Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph on Pacific Street in Brooklyn for a production of “Blonde Redhead/ ACME".
For sound, we used our Yamaha QL5 32 Digital Mixer, along with our Yamaha RIO1608 Dante-compatible stage box. Our client provided a Yamaha M7CL for use as a monitor console. Signal to both consoles was split using our Ramlatch 52 channel snake system. Support for (12) L' Acoustics active 2-way enclosured dV Dosc speakers was provided by our (2) Genie ST 20 crank up stands. Our LA-8 amp rack with (3) L'Acoustics LA-8 amplified controllers provided power and processing for both the dV Dosc and SB218 subs. (6) of our L' Acoustics 108P self-powered compact speakers were used for monitors & front-fill, as was our L’Acoustic SB15P subwoofer.
For lighting, we illuminated the pulpit/stage of this beautiful church with a combination of (24) Phillips ColorBlasts TRX RGBAW LED wash / flood lights; powered by our (2) Colorblast PSU. We also used (10) of our Source 4WRDs to illuminate the performers on ‘stage’ and to add to the aura of the event. For lighting control we use our MAonPC command and fader wings and these control signals were then distributed using our wireless DMX City Theatrical SHoW Baby. Our (12) GLP Volkslight Zoom lights with additive color mixing capacity added beauty and creativity to the event.
