12.16.22 - Collegiate Winter Program at The Church of St Paul the Apostle

Moore PA Hire headed down Columbus Avenue to provide audio, video, multi-cam recording and livestreaming equipment and services for The Collegiate School's winter program at The Church of St Paul the Apostle.

For audio, we began with (1) Yamaha QL5, (1) Yamaha QL1, and (3) Yamaha Rio 1608D. The QL5 mixed for the in-room audience, the QL1 for the livestream. For speakers in the room we provided (2) L'Acoustics DV-Subs, (4) L'Acoustics 112p, and (6) L'Acoustics 108p. These served as monitors for the orchestra and choir, will we interfaced via Dante with the Church's brand new audio system for the in-room audience. For micorphones, we provided (6) Shure MX418C goose-neck microphones for the choir. We provided (10) DPA clip-on mics to capture the key instruments in the orchestra, as well as (2) Senheiser MKH-416 to capture the overall orchestra and space.

For video, we rolled in (2) Genie ST20 crank-up stands, (2) sticks of 12ft truss, and (24) Infiled 3.9 LED panels. These formed (2) large imag screens above the low altar where the orchestra and choir were positioned. Additionally, we brought (2) 82inch TVs to serve as delay screens.

For the recording and livestreaming portion of things, we brought in our premier livestream and recording production rack - the LSE-1. The rack consists of (1) vMix Pro server, (1) Blackmagic Design 12x12 Cleanswitch, (1) Netgear M4250 switch for high-bandwidth connectivity, and a fully managed Ubiquti networking setup. Tied into this were (7) Birddog P4K ptz cameras discreetly spread around the space. For low-latency imag we also incorporated (1) Roland VR50H Mk2 hardware switcher which was built-in upstream of the vMix Pro server. Our video team consisted of (1) Technical Director and (2) dedicated camera operators. The latter were operating over IP via (2) Asus Zenbook Duo Pros each running their own instance of vMix Pro.

The line cut was beamed to a bespoke and private livestreaming platform, Streamy.Cloud.
