4/24/12: Microsoft Digital Conference at Microsoft's New York Office

On April 24th, the Moore PA Hire team was asked to provide sound, lighting, and video for Microsoft Advertising's, Star Studded Digital Conference. Star participants included, but were not limited to: Felicia Day, Dominique Dawes, and Mike Pereira. We rose to the occasion by creating an immersive environment via our Dataton Watchout Media Server System that included two projection screens with ultra short throw projectors, 5 LCD screens across the back of the stage, and tied into two more in house LCD screens and two more in house projectors with screens as well as pipe and drape. We also brought in our L-Acoustics 108 P speaker system with L-Acoustics SB15 subwoofers all controlled from our Yamaha LS9. For Lighting we used our Hog IPC lighting controller to set the mood with our Elation Design Spot 250s and LEDs. For the stage, we provided Tele-prompting service and three 40" LCD screens to be used as confidence monitors. 4/12/12: St. Hilda's School Gala

On April 12th, the Moore PA Hire team was asked to provide sound, lighting, and video for Saint Hilda's School's gala celebrating the school reaching it's monetary goal for large scale renovations to their classrooms, facilities, and building. We worked with our good friends at The Winstead Catering Group to bring this excellent event together. For sound support, we brought in our EV Deltamax sound system, our L-Acoustics sound system, and our Yamaha M7CL digital console. For lighting, we used a combination of Elation Design Spot 250 moving lights, LED lighting, and conventional lighting for stage wash. As for video, we used our Dataton Watchout media server, two 9' x 12' projection screens, image magnification (IMAG) via our Panasonic AG-DVX100B digital camcorder, and Christie Digital LX605 digital projectors. Since we were working in a High School Gymnasium, we took advantage of the infrastructure in the ceiling to hang our equipment, thus being able to put on a beautiful show, while the gear stayed hidden. After all was said and done, the client made a point to let us know that they thought the results were stunning, and really that's why we do what we do. 2/16/2012: Tourism Ireland Event at The New York Athletic Club

On February 16th, the Moore PA Hire team was asked to provide A/V support for Tourism Ireland promotional, media only event at The New York Athletic Club. The focus of this event was to launch a three minute video commercial in addition to two thirty second video commercials for general release to North American Cinemas. We provided sound via our L-Acoustics powered speaker system, video via our Dataton Watchout system, IMAG (image magnification) using out Christie and Sanyo digital projectors, live video capture, stage and architectural lighting. The featured speaker for this event was Taoiseach Enda Kenny, Ireland's current Prime Minister. 2/9/2012: Oster Media Presents Leila Shams Afterparty

On February 9th, the Moore PA Hire team was asked to help set up Sound, Lighting and Video for the after party of Oster Media presents Leila Shams during New York Fashion Week. We also provided video support for the Leila Shams showcase at The Empire Hotel. For the after party, we supplied LED Lighting, Video Support, a Macbook Pro, Standard lighting, Gobo Lighting, Hi-Fi sound via our L-Acoustics speaker system, backline rental, and Pipe and Drape. The event was a huge success, as evidenced by the pictures below. Please have a look.

2/3/2012 - Friends of Sean Lugano Benefit

On February third, 2012 the Moore PA Hire team was invited to provide sound, lighting, staging and video for the annual Friends of Sean Lugano benefit. All proceeds from this event are donated to various charities having to do with the tragic 9/11 attacks. For sound, we brought in our 5-way active Jason Sound system as well as our L-Acoustics 108Ps all controlled via our Yamaha LS9 digital mixing console. We lit the room by combining conventional lighting with LED lighting and Elation Design Spot 250 moving lights. All of which were controlled by our HOG iPC lighting console. For Video we used a 9' x 12' rear projection screen with out 6,000 lumen digital projector as well as a semi-transparent/shark tooth scrim with a 2500 lumen ultrashort throw projector, all controlled via our Dataton Watchout media server. 2/1/2012: Starwood Preferred Guests event at the St. Regis Hotel, The Westin Hotel, and the W Hotel

On February first the Moore PA Hire team was asked to provide sound, video, and lighting in three locations for the Starwood Preferred Guests Program (Starwood Hotel Group). The three locations were as follows: The New York St. Regis Hotel, The Westin Hotel New York, and The W Hotel New York. At the first location, the St. Regis, the team provided video and computer support for two video screens and a slide presentations. Secondly, at the Westin, we provided LED lighting, up lighting, and building out the display walls and lighting for a photo exhibition . We also provided video support for two screens. Lastly, (but definitely not least), the night ended with a wonderful performance by Grammy Award winning artist Estelle. For this, team provided continuous video via our Dataton Watchout media server, LED Lighting, Wireless LED lighting for the furniture fixtures, standard lighting, staging, and hi quality sound. All three legs of this event went off without a hitch, and a good time was had by all. Please take a moment to take a look at some pictures and video of the event below.
