Moore PA set up shop in the balcony overlooking the Yale Club ballroom, providing audio, video, lighting and recording services for the Public Servants Gala. For this event we not only provided audio for speakers, but also for a live pianist and singer.
To cover the audio needs, we used the in-house L'Acoustics system featuring, (4) X8 Speakers on wall mounts, and (1) LA-8 2 channel amp. For the program speakers and pianist we used (6) Shure MX418C Cardioid Gooseneck Microphones alongside our Shure ULXD4Q wireless setup, allowing us (4) ULXD2 Handheld Mics for Q&A and moderators. All of these mics were received and mixed by a Yamaha DM3 console, ensuring clear and safe audio levels.
Providing the event's video needs we brought in (4) 85" TVs and (3) Birddog P4K PTZ Cameras for recording. Content was sent to the TVs via (2) Asus Zenbook laptops running Vmix Pro, feeding a Roland VR-120 video switcher for seamless transition. To create a recording we set up our LSE-2 rack in the balcony, which captured three separate video feeds from the cameras, as well as an audio line, giving us a clear line cut recording from the evening.
For the lighting we setup (2) Aputure Spotlights in the back of the ballroom, illuminating the presenters with a basic stage wash, this is crucial when doing a recording as they help us achieve a higher quality product.
