Moore PA Hire headed across the bridge to Randall's Island to provide video, audio, lighting, multi-cam recording and livestreaming for the FDNY Foundation's annual fundraiser.
For video, we brought in our premier livestream and recording production rack - the LSE-1. The rack consists of (1) vMix Pro server, (1) Blackmagic Design 12x12 Cleanswitch, (1) Netgear M4250 switch for high-bandwidth connectivity, and a fully managed Ubiquti networking setup. Tied into this were (4) Birddog P4K to record and stream the event, as well as provide iMag. Speaking of iMag, we provided (2) 3 meter x 2 meter LED screens, each flow from a Genie ST20 crank-up stand. In addition to these, we provided (8) TV screens ranging from 70" to 82" for the overflow tents around the compound. In addition to iMag, we also served various video packages and slides provided by the FDNY from within our vMix server. The livestream was beamed out to the work via the FDNY's bespoke LiveU server.
For audio, we began with (1) Yamaha QL-1 and (1) Yamaha Rio 1608D. For PA, we provided (6) L'Acoustics DV-Dosc, (2) L'Acoustics DV-Subs, and (2) L'Acoustics SB-218s. These were fed by (3) L'Acoustics LA-8 amplifiers. For delay positions, we provided (10) L'Acoustics 112P. We used a combination of Dante Audio and NDI video to route the necessary feeds across the compound. For microphones, we provided (2) Shure MX418C podium-style mics, in addition to (1) Shure ULXD4Q providing 4 channels of wireless audio.
For lighting, we provided (10) ETC Lustr Series 2, as well as (8) Chauvet Rogue R2. Finally, we provided (2) water-based hazers to set the stage and accentuate the backdrop for this great event.
